Full abdominoplasty and modified body lift....worth the 10 yr wait!

WORTH IT$10,495
At the age of 66 one might consider this extensive surgery pointless for a woman "of my age". I beg to disagree. My tip to those contemplating similar similar surgery is to follow all your doctor's directions to a "T", wear your compression garment faithfully and be best of all, be prepared to love your body once again. The recovery was, in my experience, very fast. After the first week, no pain medication was necessary and I welcomed the security of the garment.
Life may be short....... but feeling and looking more youthful cannot be anything but joyful!

My first appointment with Dr. Amspacher was scheduled after all those years of turning away from mirrors. By the time I left his office all my fears were gone and any doubt about Dr. A and his staff had disappeared. The compassion and concern expressed by Dr. A's nurse, Robyn and technician, Becky was both professional and personal. Dr. A. thoroughly explained the surgical procedures required. I was given a detailed outline regarding recovery, activity level and expected final results. Now, three months post surgery, I cannot imagine a more satisfactory outcome. I quickly marked the maximum score of 5 stars for all categories without reservation! That being said, in my opinion Dr. Amspacher is a 10.

Ten years after losing 90lbs I was still struggling to accept the aprons of skin remaining. Like many women, my family, my job and even finances took precedent over what I knew I wanted. No.... what I needed. Regardless of the much lower numbers on the scales, what I saw in the mirror was a constant reminder of a severely distorted body image.
