I had my rhinoplasty done on the 19th December...
WORTH IT
I had my rhinoplasty done on the 19th December with Mr Uppal. I am extremely pleased with my result already. I have been conscious of my nose my whole life (bump on bridge & projection too far) I explained to Mr Uppal and he agreed he would take out the bump and make it smaller. I honestly cannot believe the difference! I thought about my nose every time someone looked at me from the side and I never thought it would be possible to change (as I never thought I would be able to go through with it).
After reading reviews and meeting other surgeons, Mr Uppal put me at ease straight away and I knew I had found the right surgeon. He measured my nose and showed me images of what I could look like on his iPad.
As the surgery date was getting closer, my main worry was the general anaesthetic and that something would go horribly wrong. I booked in an extra meeting with Mr Uppal (No cost) and he reassured me. I can honestly say this was a very smooth process and Sharon / Mr Uppal were always on hand if I had any questions before and after surgery which definitely helped with my anxiety.
When I woke up from surgery, I was surprisingly very calm and had no pain (only minor sore throat from the anesthetic). I was amazed how ‘easy’ it was. I spent the next week at home resting. I didn't need any pain relief after the first day. The worst part was the bruising and bloodshot eyes, but this quickly disappeared after a week. My nose bled a small amount for the first 2 days and the swelling was at its worst on day 3. The recovery isn't painful just uncomfortable having to breathe out of your mouth so make sure you get lip balm! My nose is still swollen but no one can notice unless I tell them. I can breath out of my nose now (every now and then it will feel blocked but only temporary).
I have had endless comments on how well I look and I absolutely love my nose which I never thought I would say! I honestly cannot recommend Mr Uppal enough, he really is a great plastic surgeon and has changed my life! I now have a nose that is small, natural and fits my face! I would recommend him to anyone. Thank you once again!
