Turning 50 this November, seemed time to do something for myself for a change. Three kids, all C-sections with my last born when I was 40. While I do need to loose about 20 pounds, I've got that saggy belly skin that no matter wat I do will not go away. So I've decided to take the surgical route.

Going on the 10th to do my preop blood and EKG, make my final payments and fill my pain meds. I ordered my compression garment online and should arrive before Christmas. Super excited! Okay I managed to finally put up a photo! Wish I had an iPad it might come out better than trying to take this photo myself. But you get the idea. I feel excited and really not so nervous. I have worked in the medical field all my life so the surroundings don't scare me. I have not told anyone but will tell my kids after Christmas. Love seeing all of you who have already been through this. You are a guide for me to know what I am looking to expect. Don't expect to wake up looking like a swim model! LOL. Found my doctor after searching the intranet and researching for 3 months. This was not something I was going to just close my eyes and pick from a phone book. I had my first consult and was very impressed by his whole staff. I know I'm in good hands.
