I love this site! Thank you gals so much for sharing such a personal story. I figured the only way I could show my appreciation was to return the favor by sharing my journey :) Ok, so after 6 years of not liking my breasts after having kids and then becoming a dancer and really not liking them lol, I had decided to save up and get it done. Of course the only way I was able to save the money was from dancing. I actually never thought it would be possible. :) so I've booked my appointment for the 22nd of October...my 26th birthday. I'm so excited and of course have been looking at boobies non stop for about a month now lol.
I went to 3 consultations and the third and final was my favorite. Dr. Hause in Sacramento. I really felt like he understood my body and he was the only doctor that said absolutely no way when I requested saline because I would hate the severe wrinkling due to my thin skin on the top and the nature of my work. The other two docs didn't even bat an eye when I requested saline. He also discussed the profiles of the implants and suggested mod+ because of the size of my chest cavity. All I know is I don't want them pressed together too much, I definitely want them to settle in. I don't think they will because I've had children and have some sagginess already which I think is a great start for beautiful natural looking breasts. He also said that a peri-areola lift was unnecessary and would only have 1/2-1 inch difference on the nipple placement and wouldn't be worth it, he said that we will go a little larger than he normally suggests for other woman because of he excess skin on the top. Lets fill em up! Which is awesome because I wanted larger anyways :). I'm super excited and I love this site. This site overall is what solidified my decision. Thank all of you ladies for sharing!

Eeep! I'm so excited. A couple days ago I was really thinking about not doing it even tho I had already paid my deposit due to capsular contracture fears. But my boyfriend said everything in life Is a risk. When you want something, you gotta take a risk. And he's absolutely right! Can't wait. I'm really trying to not drink because I want to be super healthy. I don't drink a lot but I do drink ....everyday (a drink or two, not getting blasted) I also smoke a cig 3-4 times a week. Barely anything but I'm starting to dred cutting my little vices out :/ but don't care cuz I'm getting boobies!!! I do want to call my doctor and see what his procedure is on cc and how much it is, etc. tho. Ill do that on Monday. I've been talking about my boobs and looking at boobs non-stop all while trying not to annoy everyone around me lol. I'm sure I'm failing. ;) well gotta get ready for work. :D
Over n out.

research and more research!

flatdancer
okay so I'm 15 days away from my surgery date and of course I cannot get off the internet! I'm doing so much research on capsular contracture and vitamins and all the things that can go wrong. It's driving me crazy I'm almost at the point where I don't even care what they look like anymore I just don't want to have capsular contracture lol. However I'm pleased to say that after all of my research I feel better about it because now I feel as if I have some control over the outcome whereas before it was very risky I felt. So I'm going to start taking vitamin E capsules 2 weeks after my surgery and of course doing massages. Plus I'm going to start taking arnica and bromelain really soon here. I've also decided to stop drinking and eat lots of vegetables not a lot of meat. I went to Elliott's natural foods and I love that place and I love the woman that works there and I told her that I was getting a breast augmentationand she had given me a lot of advice in a lot of herbal remedies to help out right after that I did research and sure enough she was right. I should have never doubted her lol she's never steered me wrong. so I feel a little better today.I do feel as if I need a little more research on sleeping on your stomach and keeping them wrapped up for a week. If anybody has done this and has also taking vitamin E capsules please let me know how it turned out I have yet to find a story where a woman was taking vitamin E oil capsules early on and developed capsular contracture most of the time to stories with capsular contracture end up where the woman started taking it when it's too late. So if anybody has any stories regarding this please let me know!

TLDR: doing too much research but its paying off. Yay for vitamin e.

Interesting about the vitamin E! I haven't seen research about that. You're like me, I want to research everything so nothing is a surprise I guess. lol. I need to look into the natural foods/supplements as well.

This is my Dr as well... I'm going for a revision soon just deciding on some things first..I have a cc
October 10, 2013
was he your first doctor? I'm sorry to hear that you have cc. That stinks. did you start taking vitamin E oil 2 weeks after your surgery?
October 10, 2013
Yes he was my original Dr...I may use him for my revision but when asking what can I do to prevent it from happening again I was told there is nothing you can do
October 10, 2013
How bad is it? What stage? Also did u do the vitamin e thing?
October 10, 2013
Its not bad I had them done 4 yrs ago and didn't know I had a cc until about 9 months later ..since I had a baby who os now 21 months old and I breastfeed which broke down some scar tissue I guess because it is soft now but sits a little differently then my right side..I didn't use vitamin e until I discovered I had the cc
October 10, 2013
Maybe I should use it right after my revision?
