How it works
- Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
- This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
- Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
- Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.
If you have questions or believe we should re-evaluate a published review, let us know.

Hello there RS community!
I am more than 3 months post OP, however I gave it a lot of thought lately because I am getting PM and messages in general people asking me photos, updates and etc. I am not in the best mental state to be discussing my nose or my changes or even more..share my photos. If I was a pretty open person before the surgery it is completely opposite now. I never really imagined how hard psychologically will be the post OP process but here I am trying to deal with it.
Please have some understanding aswell.
A little update before I Sign Off - nothing much changed, actually I don't think much changed at all since I don't wear my tape at night my nose is constantly swollen (I think I should repurchase the tape and start taping again), but everything else seems settled, a little asymmetry and nostril unevenness can be seen when a swelling is at its peak. My nose is a bit wider than it was before, but nothing tragic as I told before, I think it doesn't disfigure my overall face features.
I cannot give advice to those who are considering because its your own 100% decision, just don't get your hopes high about perfection. I have not seen a perfect nose job. One is to see it in the photos, other is how it looks in real life. If you are 200% sure of your decision, then there is no need for advice, don't be afraid and trust your surgeon. (Surgeon should be picked VERY carefully!). If there are doubts, even a tiny bit of doubt, it's better either don't do it or wait for a better time in your life.

Swelling
It's still there. I do tape my nose every single night even tho it's more than a month post op. And just few days ago - I didn't, just to see what happens. And let me tell you..my oh my…My nose was HUGE in the morning without any refinement just like a blob on my face. I swear I will tape my nose every single night even if it's for a year…because let me tell you...that was scary!!!
For those that have a rhino, for how long did you tape your nose?
