My choice to have surgery was a decision that really was, in my eyes the final end of my past. As a forma anorexic who had battled for many years, with very low self esteem, compete loss of breast tissue and excess skin. I felt unloveable and also had a marriage breakdown.
The benefits of having this surgery, would not only change my life, but would benefit my children's lives, as I would be able to take them swimming and to actually be happy and to have a normal relationship with a man!
I had moved on in my life in many other ways, putting on three stone and putting myself through university.
The only issue was the financial cost, but this was a once in a life time opportunity. I was saving for this operation for a few years, I also had support from my parents & my ex husband.
