Hello all! id like to say I decided to write this...

Hello all! id like to say I decided to write this review after reading so many on here myself before having my procedure, and also because I feel its great for us all to be able to share experiences, it really helps us out.
So firstly i'll inform you a little bit on my background and story (before meeting the lovely Mr. Pacifico of course!) why I decided to have my work done.
(im writing this review about two months P/O but diary of first 2 weeks P/O is below.)
----------------My story before discovering the lip lift------------------
I am in my twenties, and had been having lip filler for many years, since I was very young, Due to being very insecure and unhappy with my lips, I felt they did not suit my face and my top lip was a lot, lot thinner than the bottom. So, after seeing handfuls of different aestheticians and nurses etc, having filler, I was usually disappointed with the results. At the most, I felt a bit better that my lips were bigger but still unsatisfied honestly.. hence seeing many different people to do my filler, but regardless, it was never right.. i always asked the nurses to create a ''lifted'' affect with the filler, why i thought that would be possible i have no idea, it didnt work on me anyway. So what happened after years of filling, is the filler was sort of in a ''block'' in the middle of my lips, like a small sausage shape, then very thin edges. When I opened my mouth sightly, where there should have been tooth show, was a ''hangy'' or droopy looking lip benieth a long philtrum. No where close to what i wanted. So.. eventually i FINALLY realised i should never had been having lip filler in the first place, and that my philtrum was too long and i already didnt have enough tooth show, my long philtrum already did not suit my face. So after finally discovering the Lip Lift i looked at myself and thought, how did you not think of this before! how did i not know this was a thing? and so i spent wellll over a year obsessively looking at reviews, before and afters, doctors etc. Eventually i decided to book my appointment for a consultation in Kent with Mr. Pacifico at Purity Bridge. Best thing i ever did. So next ill tell you alll about that!..
---------------Discussing and planning op at Purity Bridge--------------
Firstly, i have to say i cannot praise Mr. Pacifico enough. I am so happy with my lips! so heres how it went.. First time meeting Mr. Pacifico at my first consultation, My mother and i had a chat with Mr.Pacifico about my past procedures, health, thoughts, questions, everything. Now i must tell you i suffer from a chronic illness that can really affect the healing and other skin issues in people with my condition, LUCKILY, Mr. Pacifico was familiar with my condition, Anyway, so of course i already had thought about the potential risks/issues i might have with scarring/healing etc. but honestly? i still desprately wanted the lip lift. I weighed up the pros and cons, the risks/benefits, etc already. Mr. Pacifico was wonderful, he was totally honest and clear about everything, very informative, he is straight forward and clearly has his patients wellbeing and happiness as his priority. I still had some old filler from about a year previously in my top lip when i went to see him, so he adviced i have that dissolved, let my lip settle, then send some photos of my ''empty'' lip and we would go from there- WELL, let me tell you, that was one deflated lip!!! TOTALLY different. After he agreed to do the procedure, I immedietly decided to go ahead and book the Lip Lift!
PROCEDURE TIME.
Mr. Pacifico and i had another chat before my procedure and he insured i was fully aware and understanding of everything and made sure i was happy and if i had any questions etc, so that was really great and very reassuring. The procedure itself was fine, the only sore part was the numbing injections but really, ive had far, far worse pains. i cannot complain about a couple of needles. i was pleasantly surprised at the pain level actually. It didnt take long and i was pretty calm and happy throughout the procedure etc, i just kind of closed my eyes and drifted into a daydream about my new lifted lip, whilst Mr. Pacifico performed his work! The loveliest nurse was by my side the whole time, too. She was so reassuring. Once the procedure was over, my face was now bandaged and felt a little tight. For the next couple of days it was a similar feeling to the drying facemasks that make your face feel tight but only above my lip area. Pain was fine, i just took some pain relief to help any aching.
DAY OF PROCEDURE: Wow. Hello new lifted lip! better already. This is what i needed years ago. So excited to see when the swelling goes down! a little bleeding, but not much. developed eating/drinking techniques. All good, very excited. No worries at all here. More swelling in the evening. (op was in the morning) Did i mention i was excited?
DAY 1 P/O Less bleeding, trying to take it easy and keep a still face as much as possible. Keeping my head elevated. All is still good.
DAY 2 P/O still a bit achy but absoloutly fine, just itchy under the bandages.
DAY 3 P/O Only a little swelling now, only occasional achying. still excited. Using ice packs on and off to help swelling.
DAY 4/5 P/O I havent stopped looking in the mirror since the procedure. Excitedly. Swelling is minimal.
DAY 7 P/O STITCHES OUT!!! I had a quick look at in the mirror when the nurse removed the dressing, wow.. that incision.. Mr. Pacifico is a great artist. Looked so neat. So pleasantly surprised! i thought it would look pretty scary under there but no! it looked wonderful! Stitches were a little sore coming out but bareable and very quick, i also do have sensitive skin and it is of course a very sensitive area. New bandages went on.
DAY 14 P/O Bandages off! SO HAPPY!!!! wow.. Incision looks amazing, cant stop looking in the mirror! all swelling is totally gone. I feel so happy.
-------------------PURITY BRIDGE, AND SURGEON (Mr. Pacifico)-------------------
I cannot thank Mr.Pacifico enough, not only is his work impeccable and an absoloute art- (check out his before and afters.. beautiful) he is also very helpful and very honest, extremely knowledgable. upon meeting him he was kind and helpful, also i must say i have met a huge amount of doctors/nurses etc in my time (medically and aesthetically) and it is a rarity in my opinion to find one who makes you feel at ease and comfortable in their clinic, so this was something i was beyond relieved about! at Purity Bridge i feel the atmosphere is positive and relaxed, everyone is so friendly and nice, i felt like i had known every body there forever! The nurses were also so so wonderful and caring. Also the receptionist Chloe was also so lovely and helpful ! Huge thankyou and appreciation for how kind, helpful, and efficient everybody is!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
CONCLUSION. I am delighted with the outcome following my upper lip lift, my philtrum is now a lovely length and looks much cuter, more feminine, young, more preportional with my face, and my lip is finally LIFTED! i can actually SEE it! i have an upper lip! my scar is thin and neat, im actually really happy with it and its honestly not very visable even without makeup. Might i add that i have been using silicone gel, vitamin e oils, manuka honey, etc on my scar every day to try and give it a helping hand healing. im glad to share my excitement and happiness with you guys, thankyou for reading my review and best of luck on your own journey! xoxo
