WORTH IT
I've always hated the bulbous shape of the my nose, I tried to shake it off and thought surgery was too drastic until early 2016 i'd had enough.
I started my research and Mr Hassan's name had come up as carrying out Charlotte Crosby procedure. I rang up and was delighted to get a consultation in Burmingham for March. I had looked at what seemed like 1000s of ''noses'' online but was aware of the limitations and knew i just wanted it slimmer!
At the start of my research I told myself i would see at least 3 surgeons to get their view as a friend had told me this was best practise.
I am not going to name them but the first said he would just slim down the sides (via closed rhino) and it would take less than an hour (I am curious to think what this would turn out like - not sure it would be in proportion/ as cute looking). The other surgeon (very well known, great reviews on here) actually refused to operate on me, stating I would not get the results I wanted. I found this strange as i had very realistic expectations, I do wonder if it was because i had mentioned I had already seen Mr Hassan. With Elite Surgical I too up the option of a mentor (someone who had been through a similar op) who I spoke to on the phone and texted. She really reassured me and gave me lots of tips for pre and post op.
Recovery was much better than i expected with bruising gone in a matter of days, Mr Hassan must have been very very gentle!
I am now about 9 weeks post op and the swelling feels like it is going down in 2 weeks increments. Its now concentrated on the lower 3rd of the nose, yet no one else can tell. I can compare my nose to how it looked on a friends wedding picture when it was professionally air brushed! The main comment is ''wow it's your nose but smaller'', clearing up any concerns that you can tell i've had surgery. I am happy with it now but can't wait until the final swelling of the tip goes down!
