35 years old, nursed three kids, breast augmentation

After nursing three kids for a year each I was extremely unhappy with my small breasts. I went to Dr. Kerr after a close friend had her augmentation with amazing results. I told Dr. Kerr that I was extremely conservative and wanted to be proportionate. I am 5'9 and weigh 122 pounds. (Small frame). Dr. Kerr recommended a size for me and I tried on several sizers. I decided on 350 cc's silicone implants, his recommendation.
I stressed a lot about size up until my surgery date. The office staff answered my distressed email on the weekend and Dr. Kerr called me himself on Monday. He is so kind and did not want me to stress! He brought both sizes to surgery and again I ended up going with the 350cc's. I am extremely pleased with my results! They are the perfect size and look great!
The morning of my surgery my nurse asked me if I had consulted with any other doctors. I told her "no." She said that seems to be the case with Dr. Kerr. Once you meet with him you know you can trust him. She said other patients who consult with other doctors first and then see Dr. Kerr usually pick him. She said "he is the best!" This was unsolicited on my part and really put my mind at ease for the surgery.
Dr. Kerr has AMAZING bedside manner. He makes you feel like you are his only patient. The office staff is very friendly and professional. This is the only elective surgery I have ever had and would do it all over again.

Congratulations! I'm happy you had a great overall experience. How did you take care of your 3 children during your recovery? Have you had a chance to go bra shopping yet? Thank you for sharing your story on RealSelf!

I had my surgery Dec 3rd, 2013. All of my children are under the age of 5. My husband took off work for most of the week. I was completely out of commission for three days. After that I did things very carefully. Instead of carrying a child and a bad etc. I had to do things one at a time. My doctor was very upfront about what to expect and made sure I was prepared before surgery with pain management prescriptions. It took about a month to go back to normal life.. Working out etc. I have not been bra shopping! I have been given the green light, but honestly I love my Coobie bras I wore post op and with three kids I've been lazy about getting fitted!

Oh wow, all 3 kiddos under 5. I did that and it wasn't easy! ;) Glad your husband was able to take time off from work to help out during your recovery. I totally understand about bra shopping. Stay comfy for now. ;) Besides, you may notice a few more tiny changes up until 6 months. Once you do go bra shopping, be sure to take the time to get professionally fitted.
