I had my sleeve done on December 17th. The doctor asked me to do the pre-surgery diet before the procedure which resulted in a 15 lb weight loss even before the surgery. As of today. I am down 50 lbs and I feel great. My only complication from the surgery was a secondary infection I developed two weeks after. This resulted in a two day hospital stay.

What I can say is that you need to be serious about losing weight and LISTEN to your doctor. It was well worth the time and pain to live a much healthier life.

5 months post op and I am chugging along. So far I am down 65 pounds but the weight loss has slowed down to about 5 lbs per month. Still another 45 lbs to go. My biggest issue is finding time to exercise.
