Endoscopic Revision Surgery to Fix Disaster After Transaxillary Implant Malposition

WORTH IT$4,500
In 2014 I made a silly and expensive mistake by not making enough research prior the surgery and choosing a surgeon without expertise and experience for my first BA surgery. I only wanted to have transaxiallry (armpit) incisions and, unfortunately, Dr J Kulhaneck (Prague, Czech Republic) was not able to make it right. So I ended up with too tight pockets, malpositioned high riding implants and visible side scars from too low incisions. I was devastated for few months and after a year and tons of research on my issue I decided to have a revision surgery with another surgeon - Dr Serban Porumb (Romania)
Now, it`s 2 years passed since my second surgery and I can`t be happier with my result. Honestly, I did not expect that revision could creat such a natural balanced look considering all my troubles.
After reading almost all Realself content and also scientific papers on transaxillary breast augmentation I found that the best result with this approach only achievable by using endoscopic technique
Dr Porumb was among few highly skilled boarded certified surgeons in my region (Europe) who had the expertise and experience with endoscopic transaxillary approach breast augmentation. He is a private surgeon in a small town Oradea in Romania. He spoke excellent English and was trained in US and France. After few remote consultations I decided to book a surgery with him and travel from London to Oradea.
I`m 5`8 120 lbs girl and quite thin skin and boned chested. I was not greedy and wanted a modest enhancement like natural looking 34C or small D (I was born with 34 A/B). Also my natural breast had assymetry with smaller and higher right breast which I wanted to correct as well.
After meeting at Dr Porumb clinic and some communication and measurements I was advised on 325cc right breast and 350cc left medium profile smooth round Mentor to achieve the look I was after (I picked "desirable result look" photo from one of "before after" pics from Dr Porumb website gallery)
I was amazed how different was the treatment and care at Dr Porumb clinic in comparison with that Chezh "soviet style" careless and rude attitude in Prague hospital I was so unfortunate to encounter with initially. On the day of surgery I had my own very comfortable cosy room and attentive nurse available. They even allowed my boyfriend to stay with me just before and after the surgery itself.
And when I finally woke up and it was over I felt minimal discomfort and the main thing was - my breasts looked already beautiful just after it. I recalled some surgeon on Realself stating once that the good BA surgery is when the breast looks good straight away after the procedure. That was the case for my result with Dr Porumb. My breast were a bit swollen and with light bruises, but almost perfect for me already.
And the best part of it was that the result looked very similar to my "ideal result" photo and my asymmetry was balanced as well.
My breasts healed nicely and quick. After few months they become a bit lower like I expected and looked even more natural and felt soft and fluffy. The scars now unnoticeable - I did used silicone scar cream for first 6 months though.
What can I say to resume my BA journey?
First of all, please always make a deep research before undergo a surgery - at Realself and other forums, read carefully some scientific data, look at the galleries of before after of the surgeon because I think everyone has a bit of "style" in their work and you must be happy with how it look.
Then, for transaxillary approach I strongly recommend only choose doctor who can make it endoscopic, and has an expertise in this technique otherwise there is always a risk to end up with malpositioned implants.
And finally, for people who are considering having an endoscopic transaxillary BA in Europe - Dr Porumb in Oradea is the best surgeon you can find there with specialty in that.
Good luck everyone :)
