I have always been very self conscious about my weak jaw/neckline -- something I inherited from my mother. My doctor recommended chin liposuction to improve this, and unfortunately, it was not the answer. While there is a slight improvement to my profile, I now have visible banding under my chin that makes me far more self conscious than ever before. I can't even take pictures anymore and mirrors terrify me. It has been a very difficult thing to come to terms with and it is something I'm going to have to have fixed. If you are considering improving your neck profile, please consider all options and do very thorough research, as it is my understanding that chin lipo regularly exposes neck bands -- even in young people.

Oh, you poor thing! I cannot even begin to imagine how devastating that experience was/is for you! When you go to a plastic surgeon, you go in to come out looking BETTER, not worse. You paid a lot of money, you probably were super excited beforehand and eager to see the results post op, right? I feel horrible for you! I CAN understand that this is not a place on your body that you can HIDE, either. Wow. I would very much like to see a picture? I was considering using this doctor. Could you possibly email them to me if you do not want to post them? Although, I think it would be VERY helpful for you to post your pics on this site. That's what this site is for. I know I, as well as others, would be eternally grateful.
I am sorry to hear of your displeasure with the results of your neck liposuction. I take all my patient's concerns seriously and want to make sure you have the best possible outcome. While I am not exactly sure what other surgeons have discussed with you, it would be my pleasure to have you come back in to see me so we can discuss correcting your dissatisfied area. I hope to hear from you.
