I just added a few pix from 9/23/16.. depends on what you have done.. approximately 7 days.. before you can see reduced swelling, and results may be immediate however, you cannot exactly be sure untile the swelling goes down, but you can kind of tell as the swelling goes down what you see is what you get... it is like baking a cake,it depends on you and your body.. like a cake --depends on many things how it turns out, the can, the oven..... i dont think that you should expect anything but pray for better..it depends on your body for the results that you get.. Dr. D is very careful and will make adjustments if needed but does not overdo.. he feels that we should take our time and give our body time to adjust and heal.. etc.. hope this helps

Thx..sorry i missed this post? No my cheeks are not stiff, and no I cannot feel any difference.. they just look a little plump, but i do not mind in fact, i constantly ask for more fat in them because when i first started get fat transfer the fat did not seem to stay as full for as long as i wanted .. i was told by someone because if you sleep on your face which makes sense, so i would rather have more than less and i keep adding.. as Dr D says that he tries to be conservative because he can always add.. so I am still pleased and know that evenually some of the fat will be absorbed and i want to keep as much as possible... well about my smile changing probably, but i dont mind.. if it changed because i changed my face by adding volume to it instead of it being thin.. to say that my smile changed i am not sure.. but i have posted many pix from 2009 until now so you will have to be the judge of that. Hope this helps.

thanks. I tried to respond earyiler but i think the site was down. fat is great, but it is something that you may need to maintain on a regular basis as you need it.

How often do you think? If it's less often than fillers, then I'm game lol.

Has any fat survived from your first fat transfer or does it always disappear? How long does it last?

well,some does get absorbed in your body. Dr. D says that i have a solid base, so i think i just keep adding a little that may replace what gets absorbed..it maybe like you keep adding a little solution to a already pretty full bottle that has evaporated a little but there still is a lot there .. but i keep replenished before i need it.. you know..he usually uses half or as much as he thinks you need and then freezes the rest for a touch up.. he says that is better to be conservative putting in and adding later than having too much and cant get it out.....is there any left from the first transfer i think so.. but because i keep touching up i cant say.. but it is worth it.. so just look at it like a car repair and save the money
