My youngest child is 8 years old, my oldest 13. I have been extremely active for the past 3 years. Competing in 5k's and working out in the gym (weight training and cardio) 5-6 days a week 1-2 hours a day. I was really happy with my body. However, no amount of planking or ab work was going to get rid of my excess skin. I had a wrinkly stomach, my belly button misshapen due to the excess skin. I researched doctors in my area and finally decided to meet with some. When I met with Dr. Pryor he was very helpful and provided me with excellent information. We scheduled immediately. 4 weeks later I was in the operating room. Now 4 weeks after that, I am extremely happy with my results and even planning on going back next year to get a breast lift and possible implants. I highly recommend Dr. Pryor for your needs. You won't regret it.

how soon were your drains removed? do they have to have a minimal amount of fluid?
August 5, 2015
My drains were removed ppb the 8th day. The right side had no more fluid the left minimal bit still approximately 35cc per day. Honestly they should've left the left drain in for another week I think. The drains are annoying but a seroma is more annoying.

Was the seroma painful I'm so anxious to get the drains out but scared of getting seroma as well

It isn't painful. It is just sterile fluid under the skin but it prevents the skin from connecting to the muscle which prevents full healing. :( so I am fully healed every where but on my mons pubis. Ugh I've had it drained for the fourth time today and he drained my back which had fluid on it. He puts the needle in the tummy tuck incision. I normally don't feel that but today it pinched probably because my nerves are starting to heal and wake up. Do NOT get the drains out before they drain less than 25ccs per day. That being said it doesn't mean a seroma won't occur anyway. But its not as common if the drains stay in for long enough. I wore my drains around my neck on a lanyard when I showered and wore sweatpants and pinned them to the inside of my sweatpants.

Hi was wondering since you did two separate operstions for your tummy and boobs. Would u say tummy tuck pain was 10 times worse. I just got my boobs done. Would love my tummy done . I'm just being a big scary baby on the whole tummy tuck thing? Are you so happy you did it??

I am more than happy I did it but yes the pain is awful for the first few days at least it was for me. But if you stay on top of your pain meds and don't try to use your core muscles for anything you'll be okay! It was the BEST thing I've ever done for myself. I love my boobs but having my flat tummy back was way better.

My seroma
FlatAndFabulousAugust 3, 2015
Well I unfortunately have a seroma and it's now been drained 3 times. I have fluid on my lower back too but it seems to be resolving. I see the PS again on Wednesday (2 days from now) otherwise I am thrilled with my results. I have abs ladies.....abs!!!!!! I miss the gym so much though. Can't wait to get clearance but that won't happen til the seroma starts to resolve.

how you know when you got seroma? That was quick in time and nice that they fixed it. I am trying to understand how you know you got seroma when you have swelling running as well.
