I have no idea where to start. Here's a brief of my story.
I went in with no background knowledge on plastic surgery at all! We consulted about a Mommy Make-Over which included breast lift and tummy tuck with some lipo on flanks and arms. I agreed and signed my life away. Surgery was scheduled for December 2015.
He didn't collect any blood samples prior to operation. All I remember is arriving and being put to sleep and waking up in the same room.
Needless to say I've had the worse time healing. I'd never had a c-section so I had no idea how I was going to scar, but it didnt go well. I keloided on my tummy tuck scar, belly button and part of my breast. After practically begging him for some revision he agreed and revised part of my tummy tuck scar, nipple, and belly button. I had scar tissue that was bothering me underneath one breast. Mind you I had seen him like 4 other times before he agreed on revision. His bedside manners are very well played. He's quick and doesn't actually listen to what the patient is telling him. One appointment he had to ask me what I was there for. You would think that he would review that prior to entering the room. Going back to the first week of healing. I really felt like I was on my own. I swoll up so BAD that I got boils and stretch marks all over my hips. And to be honest I don't think I was initially a good candidate for a tummy tuck. A tummy tuck is a skin tightening procedure and he was quick to cut me!! I didn't had loose skin and I probably could have just done some lipo. He could have advised me better. Now I'm stuck with a scar that sits too high and one end still opens up even after two years of bugging him about it! The last thing he did was inject a steroid into my keloids on my breast and belly button. That officially ruined my skin. Yes, the scars flattened down but the injection softened my skin so much that it won't stop stretching. It looks horrible. The steroid shots cause more damage than you think. I told him and he made an excuse to just wait. I'm like wait for what? It keeps getting worse!! I scheduled another revision for November 2017 a few months prior and I found out that week that they took me off the schedule. I had to call and confirm the appointment bc I thought it was weird that they hadn't confirmed yet. That was the last straw really. I paid him practically 18k to be treated like a ghost. It's a shame because his practice is very beautiful, but his work does not speak itself. I don't think he has a good hand and has many years before he can come close to perfecting his craft. It's about the quality and he's all about quantity. He should stick to doing procedures he's comfortable with in order to put excellent work out.
I luckily found another Dr in Austin who is willing to do revision and take care of all my needs. His staff is so personable and a complete 180 from the Synergy Plastic Surgery staff.
I'm attaching a few pictures of my results after two years post op. brace yourself. -____-
