35 Year Old with Three Kids Ready to Start Taking Care of Myself Again... Finally!

Final opinion
$17,000
I would never recommend Dr. Kerr. He did a surgery that should have (according to every other consult) taken AT LEAST 6 hours, and rushed through in 3.5 hours. He got his partner (who I had never met and did not agree to use) to help with my surgery so he could get done and get as many procedures pushed through before he went on a trip 2 days later-meaning he wasn’t even around for my checkups for the next 2 weeks. When I asked what my belly button would look like, he told me it would look better than it does now. He is very friendly until you question anything. Then he is arrogant and rude. I had a hematoma rupture because he couldn’t care less that it turned black and stayed that way for over 2 weeks (see pictures). When I finally went in with blood pouring out, he laughed at me and said to remember blood is a good thing— before he actually looked at it and scheduled me for emergency surgery the next day. Valentine’s Day by the way-and charged me for it- even tough it was his fault I was in such bad shape because he ignored my concerns. I then had to have a third surgery, because- as you can see from the pictures- my tummy tuck bulged as it should not do. No one signs up for that when they pay $17,000 for a mommy makeover. He told me that it was because he couldn’t do lipo there when he did the initial surgery, so I was always going to need additional lipo. He NEVER MENTIONED this before and was happy to do an additional surgery and charge an additional $2,000 even though the contract that you sign says revisions needed within 6 months were free. We scheduled within that window and they said the $2000 was discounted at 80%. All you have to do is look on this site, call around, get a consult anywhere to know that the lipo he did on me would not have been $10,000. They are conning people into multiple procedures and risking people’s health to get multiple procedures out of every patient, costing time and money that shouldn’t be required and aren’t taken into consideration when choosing a surgeon. I would have gone with Ashley Gordon had I known I would end up paying over $19,600 anyway. If you add in the $200 in meds that he prescribed but never even mentioned and even said I didn’t need, I spent almost $20,000 and my boobs aren’t even! Don’t go to him unless you want problems, to be ignored, rushed through, and then to pay for his mistakes.

More lipo now
Now after months of hearing that fullness in my abdomen is swelling, I was told that I need more lipo in areas that couldn't be done in the first surgery. So he could fix it, but that it would cost me another $1800. This doesn't seem right, but I agreed to pay in the hopes of having the results I hoped for in the beginning. I finally had that surgery last Thursday 9/21.

What are the results of the additional surgery? Your review is one of the best I’ve read! I’m curious, what was your size, height and weight prior to surgery and after surgery? What size implants were used? Thank you! Your results look pretty damn good!!

I had all the stitches removed on Monday. I realized that morning that I hadn't taken any photos since the last surgery, so I took some that morning before going in. Dr. Kerr says everything seems to be healing well but I can expect to swollen for months now that I've had these complications. I'm still reserving any final judgement on outcome, but I have a few concerns that he thinks and I hope will resolve over time with healing...
1. Boxy/asymmetrical breasts
2. One side of my abdomen goes in but the other curves out.
3. I have a terrible pouch right above my incision.
Like I said, I'm hoping it's all going to improve as it heals.

I'm feeling much better, thank God! The swelling has gone down quite a bit just in the last couple days, and I finally feel like I have some energy. Good luck on yours! I'm excited for you and praying that yours goes smoothly!
