I have had combined surgery procedures of an upper and lower blepharoplasty and a chin augmentation, all by the same plastic surgeon with terrible results. I was referred to second plastic surgeon to have my second lower blepharoplasty and my eyes did not improve at all. I heard about Dr. Vito Quatela through a plastic surgeons physician assistant, who was very familiar with my case. After the first consultation, I felt very comfortable and assured that he could help me. I opted for a pre-jowl implant with submental liposuction and a mid face lift. The results were amazing! Having said that, my eyes still looked worse than they did before having any surgery, so I waited a year, per Dr. Quatela's request, and then had my third lower blepharoplasty, an endoscopic forehead lift and a face lift. I am now 8 months out and am very happy with the outcome. Normally I should have had great results after about 6 months, but with all of the scar tissue from the past two surgeries, it has taken me much longer to heal. Dr. Quatela gave me my confidence back and a younger, refreshed look. Don't go to another plastic surgeon and then have Dr. Quatela have to fix his mistakes. Start with the best and save yourself a lot of pain, disappointment, down time and money!!
