Dr. V used local anesthesia, numbing my whole stomach, all while being awake. I laid back on the exam bed, 96.1 KISSFM playing lightly in the background, feeling completely relaxed. Dr. V and her assistant, first numbed the area, which was the only thing that in my experience hurt. The reason so, is because they have to cut the incisions first (4 total for me, 2 on each side), to be able to insert the cannula wand to start spraying the anesthesia into my. All while, she explained what and now she was doing, if she was going to poke me she would let me know. The whole 2 hour procedure, Dr. V and her assistant made me feel so comfortable. We talked about our families, our views on things, traditions we have, personal things, etc. I felt like I was talking to old friends while watching my fat be sucked out of me! She was fantastic and I defiantly will continue to go back to her!
