After having my child, 3 weeks shy of a year ago, through cesearean, I had muscle splitation that made it extremely hard to get the “foopa” pouch away. I lost a significant amount of weight after pregnancy, but still had those stubborn areas that made me extremely self conscious. With months of research, I finally made my consultation with Dr. Vinarski! All while awake, under local anesthesia, Dr. V first performed the ThermiTight procedure, tightening my Post Baby tummy. That in all took about 45 minutes. After, came the Lipo, a total of 2 hours for the whole procedure. I was amazed as I watched my fat flow through the tubes into the canister. I filled a whole canister, I don’t recal the CC’s or exact amount. I will update after my follow up appointment next week. After the procedure, they cleaned me up, allowed me to rest for a little, gave me water and crackers, wrapped my stomach, and gave me instructions on my after care: Compression garment for 24 hours the fkrst month, MIN, the longer you wear it the better the results. And I was on my way home. The first day was not that bad, I was sore but able to move around, although I was extremely tired and slept the rest of the day. Day 2, was HELL. I slept and laid the whole day, bruising started and the swelling was all the way down into my vagina (due to her extensive lipo in my pelvic area). I took some pain medication and laid low. Day 3, was very much like Day 2, swelling and bruising, and extreme tenderness in my stomach. I was unable to pick up my 11 month old, and continued to take it easy. By Day 6-7 I was able to start walking more straightened and upright. The previous days, I was sort of hunched over, taking very small steps. Each day has gotten better, but even Into 1 day until 2 weeks of Post Op, if my daughter or dog push on my stomach in any way, it is extremely tender, and a shocking pain. The last week, I feel sort of lumpy inside, but have begun to massage my stomach. All in all, the first few days your thinking in your head “what the bell was I thinking and why did I waste my money on this?!” But today at 2 weeks, I look in the mirror and am beyond happy and excited as to what my body is going to look like. It’s been quite a while since I’ve seen a flat tummy and have begun to do my regular exercises again (LIGHTLY) and I eat healthy. I know that with the ThermiTight especially, the process of seeing results happen over time. And I will continue to wearing my compression garments for the next few months. In seeing results, in just this little of time, I can’t wait to see where I am, in about 3-5 months! I HIGHLY recommend this procedure and have been an advocate for it to my friends since I’ve had it. Looking at my results, they are all super interested and want it now!Updated on 11 Apr 2018: 2 weeks Post Op! I’m still feeling kinda gross in my tummy area where the lipo was done. I have very minimal bruising, just a few spots here and there. I’ve noticed that wearing my M&D Lipo board really does a number on my tummy flattening. I wear it pretty much all day, taking it off to hand wash it and dry it everyday, because with the compression garments and added layers I do tend to sweat a little underneath. I have been massaging myself and that seems to really alleviate some of my discomfort. I don’t really have pain it’s just a icky, blah feeling mostly sometimes. I have been looking for a spa/place that offers lymphatic drainage massages in my area and unfortunately I live in a VERY small county/area and there are like none! While I’m vigorously looking for a provider I have been having to do it myself but I’m afraid me not being a professional is not getting the correct effect the massages are supposed to provide ???? anyone in the Pittsburgh area who know of Lymphatic Massages please let me know! Other than that I have my 2 week Post op appointment in a few days and I’m excited to show my Doctor and the girls in the office! Updated on 12 Apr 2018: Everyday I wake up and my stomach is more and more flat, and my figure 8 curves are coming out ?? also down 4 lbs!Updated on 13 Apr 2018: Today I’ve felt very icky and blah, just super uncomfortable and sore in my belly. Massaged myself really good before bed and that helped a little but still feel kind of crappy Updated on 13 Apr 2018: Also having weird, tingly pain around belly button when i touch it. Everywhere else is still some what numb? Any ideas me answers as to any?Updated on 16 Apr 2018: I had my post op today, and my doctor said everything looks good and I’m healing fine. I let her know I’m still sore and swollen and she said that is normal. I got one of my laser body contouring treatments today and that helped with some of the pain earlier but now I feel super tired and even more sore. I’m also feeling extremely crampy, not sure why.
