I am 6 months postop and my jawline looks like nothing was done/fat under chin still flabby. Also,I have dents on both sides of my face.
I had my eyes done as well,but have circles under the eyes along with hard cysts on upper lids I waited along time to get this surgery/ didn't have wrinkles, just upper eyelid sagging,under eye circles and sagging jawline
I paid cash up front for a facelift eyes(upper and lower) under chin lipo and tummy tuck. He kept changing my dates for facelift from June until finally it was done in Sept. I didn't realize until the night before that I would be in a twilight sleep. The surgery took 9 hrs which the drugs had worn off and I could feel all the needle injections I even chipped a tooth enduring the pain! All that for these awful results .He was supposed to inject fat under my eyes but said I was bleeding too much so it was never done. I have been so depressed. I went back to him about the problems with the chin and jaw, the cysts on my eyelids and dents in my face
He said that the facelift was fine and if I wanted a neck lift it would cost 4000 more and that he would fix the other problems at that time.
I feel like he should fix my face first and after reading about neck lifts,don't think I'm up for more problems!
Just want my jawline and double chin fixed It sucks that I went through all this and have the same issue I had before, only now I have dents in my face as a bonus!

Sounds and looks awful sadly,and you paid $20,000 for virtually nothing.!Shame on him.......the more i see and hear makes me think that half these so called plastic surgeons are utter rubbish,as i to know to my cost.I WOULD WANT MY MONEY BACK,but i have never heard of anyone getting a penny.So sorry.!

It's sad but true that he can get away with this, but if taken to court I'm sure he would have a "doctors" opinion on why it turned out the way it did. I just don't want anyone else getting screwed over by him

I know exactly how you feel. I'm going through the same. I saved money for my surgery, trying to look better and I ended up with a wrinkle neck, my jowline is not even defined and like you I do too have an indent in each side of my face, but the worst thing are the scars around my ears. They are so thick are very red and inflamed. I went through this procedure thinking I was going to be happy with the results and I'm just to depress and crying in regret. Maria 7500

I know... It sucks! First of all to spend the money and then to wish you had your old face back! There should be some sort of way to end this crap with these inept drs What did yours say about how you looked?

Hi Nesmine, I had a LSL in Phoenix 6 mos ago and am going back at the end of the month for a possible revision as it has all gone away. Dr. Desvigne appeared qaulified....I saw another PS in Phoenix listed here as a top 5star doc over 40 5star reviews. His name is Dr. Remus Repta. He was quiet and thoughtful, pulled his chair over to me to look at the pics they asked me to bring, brought me a glass of iced water when I complained of a dry mouth. He explained why I did not get what I paid for and recommended a full face lift. He did not try to sell me anything, I was very impressed with this doctor and hope I can find a way to have him do the work I need. (Oh and he is very handsome!) Hope this helps! And good luck!

It sounds like you should forget the neck lift or have it done by someone else. And the rest of the work should be repaired without cost. I can only imagine the agony of all of this. And you are in a depleted and depressed state. You need a strong advocate. Thanks for publishing this and hopefully preventing a similar disaster for others.

I've already forgotten the neck lift;will never have plastic surgery again. The surgeon that did my face lift has not offered to fix the dents and callef many times so I just gave up

Just to be fair I need to tell you that my tummy tuck turned out ok. Not crazy about the navel but tummy is flat .

I went to Dr. James Smith in Moon township for my breast reduction in Jan. I had great results and I love him. I plan on having him do my lower facelift. I am 63 and I plan on retiring soon and I will have this done before I retire. He has good hands and I trust him Good luck.

I went back more than once for lasering after the procedure and did ask about finishing the work on my face that wasn't done due to the long amount of time the facelift took.(the doc said) I was told that I would later have fat injections to fill the hollows out underneath my eyes. After the swelling went down in my face I noticed indentations on both sides of my face. I was told by staff that those dents were from the sutures and needed to be filled. I asked to have this fixed every time I went in for the lasering but never heard anything back from the doc. I finally decided that he didn't care if I was happy with my results and just didn't continue to go back anymore.

It has always been my understanding when a facelift is performed that the procedure also included the neck/jowls area. $20,000 sounds like an AWFUL lot of money for almost no treatment outcome except eye lift. In MHO I believe that your PS should have discussed EVERYTHING that he saw needing improvement, including the neck area and made recommendations to you about it, then you make your decision. After all he is the professional and he should have made it very clear exactly what he was going to do on surgery day.

I had no wrinkles great skin all I needed was my jaw line tightened. Wish I would've never had it done. I am seeing a facial plastic surgeon next week in hopes that he can fix the dents and the underlyung chin problem that is still here
