I'd been researching having some work done to show off my abs for over 18 months. I'd seen Dr Comins, Hamlet & Bassi but didn't really connect with them. I saw Dr Ravi Jain last August and was immediately impressed by his clinic and his complete professionalism. He listened to me for over 10 mins before saying anything! Then he asked a few questions before examining me. Then he went through some photos of previous patients of his (not anyone elses work!) and showed me the variety of results possible and what I should expect. We discussed at length how much definition I wanted and the pros and cons of extreme definition as opposed to a more subtle effect.
I am a keep fit fanatic and so I really felt I should have a better shape and more definition than I do have. Dr Jain offered my some advice on my diet and suggest I try that for 8 weeks and come back to him. I did that and it did make a difference but I wanted more! So I went back with my wife for a second consultation (at no extra cost) and we then decided to go ahead and book in for February, a few months later.
The whole experience was well co-ordinated and professional. The surgery was under concious sedation and I didn't feel a thing - HONEST! I didn't believe it would be that good.
My aftercare was with his specifically trained aftercare therapists. It was a killer but they made it very bearable and it was so worth while. Every session help A LOT. I stayed by the clinic for a week rather than a 2 hour drive each way, each day. This really helped speed up my recovery and I could work on the phone and laptop.
The drains were a bit sore and I was delighted when they came out. I had about 15 sessions in total, with the first 10 across two weeks. I did try a local therapist to me but she wasn't as effective as the Riverbanks team.
Its now 2 months or so after my surgery. I've been on holiday and people have commented on my physique saying I look great! Even friends at the gym say that my hard work is finally paying off! It looks so natural - I am more than happy and Dr Jain says its only going to get better this year!
