UPDATE

I am about 3 months post op. My lower abdomen is still numb. I have an odd pulling sensation. I lost 10 pounds but wear larger pants. I don’t know if it’s swelling or what is going on. I’m glad the apron is gone. Very glad I did the surgery. Dr. Lynam is a wonderful surgeon.

That looks like swelling to me. I still swell too. Its annoying but part of the process. Hang in there U look great!
You look great.
that could be swelling or a dog ear. sometimes after surgery you get some extra skin and they call it a dog ear. easy to remove I believe. looking great girl! glad to hear you are doing well. I’m over a year post op and I’m still numb in my abdomen
Thank you for the info. I’m hanging in there.
You look great! I had the body jet water liposuction, and I too have that pulling sensation about an inch above my belly button.
I am 4 months post TT still have numbness. Still feels strange too. I have to use ice packs on my stomach for months, especially in the afternoons/night. I don't use them anymore. Still enjoying the belly being gone. As I know you are too. I went down from a 14 to a size 8-10. I would like to be a 8 all the time.
heya, i just wanted to applaud you and thank you for sharing your story. it has made me so much braver about undergoing my surgery (hair transplant). thank you for sharing, and i wish you all the best!
My hair is thinning and hair transplant is on my list too. Keep us posted.

You are awesome, really. I just realized your surgery was just February 5th. You look great and am doing really good to me if you returned to work and are staying the entire workday.
is it possible to wear your binder to work? the spanx things don’t help as much as the binder will. and try drinking some green tea or something like that. it’s a natural diuretic and it may help get extra fluid out. glad to hear you are feeling better :)
Glad you are better today. Yes you do go through ups and downs and this is a long process. I am coming up on six weeks. It is going very fast. I don’t feel like my upper stomach is as flat as I would like it to be and it sometimes depresses me. However, I have to remember that I am 63 and it is much better than it was. Keep the faith. I read about people still swelling after a year. If you did not have complications that is a plus in itself.
happy to hear you’re feeling better! welcome back to work! hopefully I’ll have plenty more good days ahead!
Hope you are doing well. I was thinking about you.
