I am 5'5' and 240 pounds. I will be 60 in October....

I am 5'5' and 240 pounds. I will be 60 in October. It's now or never. Scheduled to have TT Feb. 2017. Fell in January and broke my shoulder into 6 pieces. Had to have surgery. Long recovery from this injury. Used all my vacation days for the year. Now I have to wait until 2018 to have the surgery. Going to see Dr. Lynam on 10-2. I hope we can schedule my surgery for February 2018.
I don't expect to have a 6 pack but I want to be able to feel some little bit of confidence when I'm dressed. Now I feel like I look horrible all the time. Even in my pajamas.
So glad to have REAL SELF and this community of women. I'm not telling anyone about the surgery, except my husband , of course. I had a breast reduction a few years ago and received a lot of unwanted negative comments from so called friends.
I want tummy tuck, teeth veneers and I plan to buy myself a new car too!

Spoke with Dr. Lyman's assistant, Lauren and she said I did not have to see Dr. For consult because we already did that part before I fell and broke my shoulder. She put me on the OR schedule for Friday January 5, 2018. Pre op 12.7.17. Let the COUNTDOWN BEGIN.

Nervous and excited. Want to lose 20 pounds. Today I weigh 240 lbs. want to be 220 on day of surgery. How did you guys do it?

I currently weigh 250 and I am waiting to hear form my insurance and a date for breast reduction and extended tummy tuck. My doctor says to try to lose some because the less I weigh, the more he can take. It's hard! Hoping my date will be by end of this month or first of November. Just want these big rolls and boobs gone. Good luck with your surgery!

I had a breast reduction in 2013. I am happy I did. It will change your life. Along with the tummy tuck it will be so much easier to buy clothes. Keep me posted.

OMG, I am so nervous and excited at the same time. I go for my surgery at 9am here is just a few hours. I know I should be sleeping, but can't gonna try soon to sleep though. i am putting all my faith in Jesus Christ to keep me safe! He has never left my side. With that said, I am hitting the bed now!

My surgery went well. I am suppose to be a size c cup and my tummy (under the binder) looks like it is flat. I go to my dr (Dr Bishop, Greenville, SC) on Friday and he will take all the bandages off and redo them. The pain is not as near as bad as I was expecting it to be. Already I can say that this is so worth it!

I do have side boobs though. Hoping Dr Bishop can do something about them when he does my arm lift in a few months.

No problem with my BMI. I’m healthy and had shoulder surgery in January and did well.
