A little relief
I got my drains taken out today. Did not hurt just felt a little bit of the burning feeling that I sometimes feel when I strip them. I wonder if I can sleep on my side now??!!

Wow thank you for posting. We have the same body shape and I have been searching all over just like you to see someone who had the same body type. You look absolutely awesome. Now I cannot wait until I have my surgery. I know this may be a personal question but I am looking to finance my surgery, did you finance yours? If so, who did you use? I have CareCredit but their finance rate is 22% which is extremely too high. Also did you find it difficult to sleep in your bed or did you have to use a recliner? I have a one year old and my main concern is when I pick him up from school I need to lift him up to get in the car and he's over 20pounds. I was invited to a Tummy Tuck and Learn event at the plastic surgery office which is supposed to be an informative session and mini consultation.

Sorry for taking to long to reply, I don't get alerts to know when someone makes a comment... No I saved up and paid for it. And my husband give me about half of it. I slept in my bed from the beginning. I took one pillow from the back of the couch and then used my regular pillows around it. The only thing that I used was a toliet raiser. I didn't even use the walker that I got. I also have an almost 2 year old, and that has been the hard part not picking her up. She is 20 pounds as well and they said at least 4 weeks before picking her up. I have 1 more week. I started holding her in week 2(like someone else would put her in my lap). Good luck and be careful because you don't want to rip something open. It's hard with the little ones.

Tubes are out!!
So today I had my drains taken out! It didn't hurt just felt. Little burn feeling, kind of fault that when stripping the drains before. It feels great to have them out. Kind of feeling the burn in sensation in my left side. I wasn't wearing my binder right and that's why I was having some swelling in the lower part of my stomach. But all is well
