Much Needed Tummy Tuck - Richmond, VA

It has been about 3 years, I am not happy with how my belly button looks at all. I will add a pic when I get a chance. My doctor placed my scars very high going in an upward slant above my panty line. I am not happy with my results and if I could do it all over I would go to a different doctor. I’m happy about the excess skin being gone but the TT itself does not look good at all.

Holly smoke girl...that is fantastically graphic. But it's GONE!!! Feeling lighter by the minute. How's your pain today? Have you walked around today...dizziness? What...just acting like your momma...lol
Take care.

I definitely feel lighter and my husband says I look smaller already. I've been up walking around with my walker, and using the bathroom by myself. I have had to instances where I felt like I was going to pass out.

How has your recovery been? I'm scheduled with Dr Lynam on 12/7. So excited, prayers to you and happy healing!

Thank you. It is definitely not easy but not as hard or painful as I thought it would be. I have been off the pain meds since day 4 or 5 , I am getting around easier without my walker. Each day that goes by gets better. I am very itchy so I highly recommend having some Benadryl on hand. I have only taken my garment off twice. I have my first post op tomorrow and am 99% sure the drains will not be coming out.

Post Op Day 2

So far so good, pain has been minimal. I am taking my pain meds every 5 1/2 to 6 hours. My doc gave me the choice of experal and I think that is the reason why I am getting around so well with barely any pain. On a scale of 1-10 I think the highest I've had is a 3. I have been able to use the restroom by myself with no assistance. I purchased a toilet seat raiser but have not needed it so it will be going back to Walmart. I still have not seen my stomach yet. I will have my husband take pics when I take my binder off. That's all for now.
