I took these photos a few weeks ago but didn't get a chance to post them. I had my appointment with Dr. Stanwix today and he said that I should retain all the fat transferred to my breasts. I'm going to be doing VelaShape in a few weeks to help speed along the healing process of my stomach and thighs, I still have some lumps and unevenness. I'll be doing three sessions two weeks apart. I'm currently fitting into a 34DD.

Thank you so much for sharing and updating the side by side is really helpful. What is velashape? Is that a common procedure/remediation after Lipo? Do you have any lumps in your breasts? Thanks again!

Hello, Velashape is a noninvasive way of body contouring. It feels like a deep tissue massage and suction at the same time. My doctor thought it would help with skin tightening and lymphatic drainage. I don't know if it's common to have it done after lipo but I think in some cases it can help refine the results. I don't have any lumps in my breasts.

I have heard of people doing the Velashape visits 2 weeks apart, the place Im doing them at now Im doing them 1 a week. Im on my 2nd set of sessions, there is 6 areas per session- well thats the package I purchased. I have also added an additional machine called EndyMed. Its to tighten the skin. I have seen really good results using these machines together. I had a really bad lump from prev lipo 3 yrs ago and it looks so much better! Im also using skin tightens lotion. I still have 3 more visits to go Im pretty sure it will be close to perfect - r my perfect lol - by the end.

You look fabulous. Wow 34DD!! I can see the little bit of lumpiness your talking about but I've been told by a few Dr.'s that it can take up to 6 months sometimes for that to smooth out. I hope the Velashape helps. You really do look great. A spray tan can camouflage the very mild bumpiness if you need to be in a bikini soon:)

Scar and lipo update

It's been 10 weeks since I had my surgery and life's been totally back to normal. I started working out again a few weeks ago. I refrained from doing any real cardio before because I didn't want to send my body into fat burning mode while I was trying to hold onto my new breast size. I haven't noticed any change in my breast size so I think I've maintained all the fat I'm going to.

A few people have asked about the scarring so I'm going to post a few pics of my scars, they're healing nicely and really aren't too noticeable in a swimsuit. I am a little concerned about the lumpiness of my abs still. From the picture it may be hard to tell but there are definite irregularities, I'm hoping they smooth out. I called on March 7th to get a followup appointment but the earliest I could get in was April 12, 5 weeks away! Then the office called on Monday to reschedule to April 19th because of a conflict on their end. I can tell my body's still healing because it feels itchy sometimes so I'm hoping that I when I do see him, which will be at the 15 week mark, it won't be too late to take any necessary action that may be needed like massage or ultrasound.

Thanks for an update wow 10 weeks already, you are looking great. May I ask when did you think you noticed that your breast had started to remain the same?
Have you done any massages to the abs area yourself as you can start doing them at home I have just started doing massages to the abdominal area now it's not so tender.

Have you been for a massage on your abs? I've been going for them since my abdomen Lipo (Jan 20) and my abs are totally smooth. It hurts (it's deep massage, more rolling than gentle) but it is necessary to heal the area and smooth lumpiness. I swear it's been the best thing I've done for my abs. Ask your doc for a recommendation or look up the best LMT in your area who has experience with post-Lipo patients. Xoxo

I haven't, I've been doing some self massage but I'm sure I will get better results with a professional. Thanks for the advice, I'll be looking into it :)

Yes- they are really the reason my abs and sides healed as flat and smooth as they did! After the investment we paid, it's the best thing to do to be sure it heals perfectly :)

You can do the Velashape III, I used it on my stomach area started at 3 weeks and most of the lumps and bumps are gone, and it also tightens your skin.

I'm having arm lipo on Monday but I will have scar on the opposite side of my elbow closest to my body and on the back of my elbow. Do you have a scar there also?
C
March 22, 2016
Oh I forgot you look amazing. I can't believe how much volume you have retained.

I only have one scar on the back of my arm. I do have one near my armpit closer to my breast but I'm not sure if is was from the arm lipo or the fat transfer to my breast. Good luck with your arms, I'm really happy with my results there!

i forgot to ask you how you felt about the results of your thighs. I'm thinking of having a consult with your MD for my abdomen, flanks and upper back(bra fat area) with fat transfer to my breasts. I was going to throw in the thighs I figure why the hell not, go big or go home as they say. My concern is that I would end up with lumps or unevenness. I would never be able to wear shorts again. I already hung up my bikini 4 years ago. I just wear board shorts and a tank top on the boat now. Sucks getting old!!
Your body is slamming. Are you a fitness buff? I don't know where that doctor found any fat on your body!! I nstopped going to the gym in my early thirties, I walked out of the gym one day and never looked back. Now 15 years later it's going to cost $$$ to fix this mess!! Lol
Had my neck lipo today and I am just about 20 minutes from home. I can't wait to go to bed. I look like Hannibal letter with this headpiece I have on. I'm in hiding until Saturday because I can't take it off for 4 full days.
Anyway I'm just rambling away. I hope your feeling well. Take care.

I did fat transfer to my breasts 3 weeks ago, and finally went back to gym yesterday :D The lipo sites are still sore when stretching, but my PS says as long as no bouncing I should be ok with weight and resistance training.

My PS injected about 300cc in each side (fat only purified by gravity, and not by spinning machine), and I'm now full B instead of deflated B because of strenuous workouts for one year (5'4" 116lb~120lb with body fat percentage at 16%, BMI 20%, super slim upper body and tummy, but thighs are big with extra fat).

Overall I'm happy with my experience (surgery and recovery are easier than I thought), but my size is so modest compared with yours, still very envious haha!

You look great! What did the doc tell you to expect in terms of retention? What size are your lipo scars?
C
March 8, 2016
Thank you, I'm feeling pretty good! He said what I have at 6 weeks is what I should expect to retain and I haven't noticed a decrease in size since even earlier than that point. They feel totally natural and I don't have any lumps or bumps. My scars are fairly small, I'll try to post some scar photos later this week as I know others have been curious also.
