All I can say is wow..
I'm so amazed at how normal my breasts are starting to look and feel! I expected it to take a lot longer to get to this point, but I guess after breastfeeding three, my breasts were used to stretching. I'm happy that after all the nurturing and nourishment they provided to my children they can now retire in style, lol. I meant to post pics yesterday, but as usual life happened and I got sidetracked, but I definitely will today. I did go back to the gym yesterday, and I thought it was surprisingly productive. Even though I've been feeling pretty normal these past few days, I didn't go to the gym with the expectation that things would be back to normal. I kept it light, I did squats (with only a little weight), leg presses, lunges, leg extensions, and walked. I was there for about an hour. Prior to surgery I worked out 6 days/wk for about 90 mins each session,
Day 9
Everything is going well. I managed to get a lot of sleep these past couple of days so I'm feeling pretty refreshed. I'm back to sleeping on my sides now and I've been sleeping much better. I do get "morning boob" but the intensity of the tightness is lessening with each passing day. My breasts feel a lot softer and my left breast even feels a bit looser. I haven't gone to the gym yet, because sleep took precedence, but I think I may venture out today. I will probably only walk or power walk for a while but it will be nice to try to build my stamina up again. I had my stitches removed from my incisions a few days ago at my first post-op. I will post pictures sometime today.
It's been one week!
I am one week post op today and I love them so much! My surgeon did a wonderful job. I'm still sore, but, as my surgeon advised, I have started doing the massages at least three times a day. Sleeping has become a real chore, but everything else is pretty normal otherwise. I will begin light cardio and then progress back up to weight training when my body feels ready. I would like to purchase some nice bras. Does anyone know where I could buy some for less than $50 per bra?!?
