I am just over 8 weeks post abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) with muscle repair, liposuction on torso/flanks, bilateral mastopexy (breast lift) and fat transfer to breasts. I could not be more pleased with the experience and with the results.
Dr. Stanwix and his staff pay meticulous attention to detail. Their attention to detail creates a smooth and pleasant experience, from the consultation appointment through the surgery itself, the recovery process and follow up appointments.
Dr. Stanwix and his staff are responsive to inquiries and questions. Dr. Stanwix himself responds to emails. He has consistently and promptly responded to every contact and question I've had. He has been patient with my questions, and he listened carefully to my concerns and wishes.
As a result of his expertise, meticulous attention to detail, careful listening and consideration of my wishes and concerns, I am over the moon thrilled with my results. Dr. Stanwix carefully explained expected outcomes, limitations and options with me during the consultation appointment and again on the morning of the surgery, as he was marking out the surgical plan. He took the time to go over the plan again with me on the morning of the surgery, asking specific questions about my desired outcome again. My results are remarkably consistent with my desired outcome.
Value added, and not to be underestimated, it's obvious that this man truly loves his job. I was able to take advantage of a cancellation on his surgical schedule, and as a result my wait time/time horizon from consult to surgery was quite short. (I was happy about that.) I was so busy getting the household ready for my recovery period that I barely thought about the surgery itself until the day before and the morning of the procedure. Nerves kicked in big time, finally, when I was in the hospital gown and TEDS hose, on the stretcher, waiting to be rolled into surgery. I will never forget Dr. Stanwix literally bouncing into the room with a cheerful smile on his face. His happy demeanor dissipated my pre-surgical anxiety like magic.
I should also add here that I was impressed and quite comfortable with the staff and the entire experience with the outpatient surgical center Dr. Stanwix uses. The outpatient surgery staff is warm, caring, personal, approachable and professional. The facility was spotless and comfortable.

Today is the 18th week post surgery! I am doing quite well. My breast lift scars are beginning to lighten up. Breasts have dropped into a natural position (where they should be) and have softened. Most of the swelling at the lipo sites and in my abdomen/torso has resolved. My waistline definition is remarkable! and my stomach is so flat! I do have some "swell hell" at the end of the day, particularly if I've been active and/or on my feet all day long, but I think that's to be expected. I need to ask Dr. Stanwix about this but I feel like I'm still, shrinking? Weight is stable but I feel like my skin is still "draping," or being sucked in. It feels like I'm being shrink wrapped from the inside. By this point most of the dramatic changes should have already happened, so I'm surprised to still have changes that are so noticeable as they occur. I can see the changes, and feel them. I'm feeling well- on most days my energy levels are back to normal. No pain, although the "shrink wrap" sensation is remarkable at times. The abdominal muscle/diastasis repair resolved long standing, chronic, at times excruciating lower back pain. That has been a HUGE blessing. Even though I had already lost a lot of weight and I didn't have as much loose skin/residual fat deposits as some, my results are clearly visible and noticeable. People comment on it. I am almost 60 years old and I could easily wear a bikini if I wanted. I am super pleased with my results, so much so that I've asked Dr. Stanwix to do some work with my face and my neck.
