Would Do Again

My experience with Dr. Sedgh has been absolutely magnificent from first meeting him to the time of writing this review. Like many people out there, I was unhappy with the appearance of my nose because I had a hump and didn’t find it aesthetically pleasing to look at. I was never judged for having a different looking nose, yet it was my biggest insecurity. It was so severe that I used to attempt to hide my side profile from people during conversations by not turning my head at all. It’s kind of sad looking back at it now because it wasn’t something that I could hide forever. I did loads of research and even considered going out of state to find a doctor that I believed would help me achieve my desired look, however I was fortunate enough to find Dr. Sedgh’s website after further research. During my consultation, I remember telling him it felt so surreal to meet him. To me, it felt like meeting a famous person and not believing they’re actually real. Dr. Sedgh was easy to talk to and be vulnerable with considering how difficult it can be to reveal your insecurities with a stranger. I believe the coolest part about it was how he used an image editing software to show me what my nose could look like after the procedure. He explained that the results won’t be exactly like the image he showed me and I completely understood because that’s simply not realistic, but I can say the results are better than I could have imagined. I appreciate the fact that he took his time to explain everything to me. He didn’t try to rush through the consultation or pressure me into getting anything I didn’t want. He simply laid out my options and let me make my own decision. The next step was setting a date for surgery. While I waited for the day to finally arrive, I felt eager. I don’t recall feeling nervous because I had complete confidence in his abilities. Looking back at it now, surgery was a breeze. The recovery process can be quite uncomfortable for the first few days, but it gets easier as time goes by. I honestly had moments of doubt during this process because my nose was swollen and I felt ugly. I realize that I was being a bit dumb for having negative thoughts because all I had to do was trust the process. Getting the cast removed was awesome. I finally got to see my results. Even though it was swollen, I was enamored by my new look. I got home and looked at my side profile in disbelief because it was a dream come true. Now, I don’t pay much attention to my nose or feel insecure about it. There are times when I forget I even had the procedure since it looks so natural. In fact, it’s so natural looking that certain people I didn’t wish to disclose this information to don’t even notice anything different about me or have questioned me if I had changed anything about myself. If they did notice, they simply chose not to comment on it. Overall, I couldn’t be any happier with my new look and am honored to be another one of Dr. Sedgh’s patients. I'm including a picture of my nose as of 6/14/21. I don't have a before picture because I wasn't much of a selfie guy back then, but there definitely used to be a noticeable hump.
