So Worth It!!
I knew I wanted Dr. Rahban to do my surgery the first time I met him!
I've wanted a rhinoplasty since I was around 13. I always felt self-conscious about my nose. I used to try to hide my profile when around people and would cover my face when I laughed/smiled because it made my nose look like it was dipping down. As I got older, I only grew more self-conscious and found myself constantly examining my nose in the mirror and in pictures, until one day I realized I needed to make a change. I searched for months until I narrowed it down to a few surgeons. Upon meeting Dr. Rahban, I knew he was the doctor for me.
My biggest fear before getting a rhinoplasty was for it to look fake or strange, but Dr. Rahban made me feel comfortable and excited! He explained that his philosophy is about creating harmony in the face with a nose that's still yours, not a cookie-cutter nose, but perfected. Dr. Rahban really took his time talking to me about what I didn't like about my nose. He also explained what he could and couldn't change. I greatly appreciated his honesty and how he didn't make any false promises. I felt safe in his hands, and I could not be happier with the results! It's even better than I imagined! He ended up being able to fix everything I disliked about my nose.
As for the actual surgery and recovery, it was more painful than expected, but everyone's experience is different. The pain subsided after the first week, but be prepared to stay in bed and have trouble eating. Soup is key! Two weeks after my surgery, my bandaids came off and I felt amazing! Even though recovery was difficult for me, I would do it all over again! The results are worth it all!
I am so grateful I found him and went through with it. It's only been a month since my surgery and I feel like a new person. I am happy, confident, and empowered. I can't recommend Dr. Rahban enough! He forever changed my life.
