I had rhinoplasty done 5 months ago and I am not happy with anything, I’ve been trying to remain patient and watch the healing come together but nothing has changed since the swelling is mostly subsided by now. I went and got a second opinion and I was told I have a pinched tip and a worse deviated septum, which is exactly the case. My before pictures are so much better than my nose is now, I had asked Dr Ward for a cute turned up nose (JUST A TINY CHANGE), not this straight skinny tip. What a disaster. Really can’t live like this for a year:(

My surgeon did the same to me. Turned my tip down and got rid of my columella. It makes a masculine appearance compared to a nose with a more heavier bottom. I truly understand. There is a major difference, I can see it. Only people who have been through the same will understand. This was not your aesthetic before and you asked for the opposite

My advice would to not go to the same surgeon to fix this. He will make the situation worse

Thank you nosey187!! I asked him to move up my columella a tiny tiny bit and he didn’t :(
I am definitely go to a different surgeon to get it fixed.

It took 3 years for my nose to heal from scar tissue. Be patient. If you do get a revision consider the same doctor as he should know exactly what he did and where it wrong

I would never trust my same doctor, in my opinion he’s not that skilled in rhinoplasty. But thanks for the advise!

I don’t think that’s always true. Sometimes yes he doctor uses older methods or isn’t that skilled but also probably most of the time people healed improperly.
