New Consultation
$20,000
I’m consulting with Dr Thomas Walker on December 6th, 2021, I’ll let you know how it goes. I’ll be happy to know if I’m even a candidate for another surgery. If, not, I’m ok with that, just need an honest opinion instead of someone taking on a surgery they can’t handle

Almost 3 years post op, I'm ready to get it fixed, AGAIN
I'm not sure who I will have fix this mess, but I'm not ready to have breathing issues and look like this the rest of my life. I believe I've had health issues related to the surgery, probably because of all of the antibiotics.

I am reading your review and my heart literally hurts seeing that he left you like this. That is not acceptable, I am so sorry. You still have a stunning classic-beauty face and you deserve to have an improved nose. I was botched in a revision and had to go around looking like a freak for over a year, pretty much hiding out. I personally would not return to that surgeon to fix your nose. And $20k for that result is outrageous. The most empowering thing that worked for me was to really start researching doctors and moving forward. You don't have to stay like this.
So sorry you are going through this! That is so unacceptable. A doctor's oath is to "do no harm." I hope you find someone to give you the nose of your dreams!
Thank you
You might try Dr. Gerald Minniti in Los Angeles. He has a heart of gold and will be honest with you on what can be fixed and not fixed.
thank you for your reply, I will check into that
Does Dr. Minniti do complex revisions?
I'm so sorry. I had the same surgeon and my nose also didn't come out at all as I expected, so I certainly understand how you feel. Praying you find someone who can help you. I've had difficulty as most doctors won't see me now due to my history.
I tried to call you Monday, the recording said you were not accepting calls?
That is weird. I didn't see a missed call. My voicemail shouldn't have said that. I can talk now if you want. 217-691-1782 or if you give me your number I will call you.
I scheduled a virtual consultation with another surgeon for this Friday. He is out of Beverly Hills. I'd rather not go all the way out there but it seems like a lot of the good doctors are there.

Or if you want to text me at the same number we can schedule a time.
I’ll text you later on today, I have to leave for an appt at 2:15, maybe we can catch up tomorrow

16 months post op
I paid $20,000 for this nose and I still can't breathe out of it, I have not yet contacted the doctor because I am a non-confrontational person I will get the strength to do it eventually, I have a lot of people asking if a student operated on me and not the actual doctor if that is what happened it was not by my choice

I've suggested this previously, but am re posting as you need to be proactive. I know you do not want to be confrontational but you have received what appear to be most substandard results and you need to help yourself. Certainly, you don't want others to suffer the same at the hands of this surgeon. Is he board certified as a plastic surgeon by a recognized board? If you cannot stand up for yourself, have your husband or a freind help you to advocate for yourself and others. You could report him to the state medical board where you reside but first you need to let him know how unhappy you are with the results and that you are afraid to let him revise his surgery due to such a poor outcome. You may want to get some opinions from other surgeons but don't disclose who the surgeon was (as a generalization, doctors can be very political and don't like to speak out directly against one another ). I believe you need to stand up for yourself, you spent a good deal of money, and post operative discomfort and time and had a most unsatisfactory result.
Looks like you have alar rims distorting the nostril rims
I used to have them and they did the same to my nostrils. They ruin the soft tissue triangles. I had mine removed and now working on repairing the scarring they leave.
I’ll have to google that one, I’m not familiar with the technical terms. I hope your having some success with the repairs
Hey there. First of all, I want to send you so much love. I am botched and I think it is the single most painful, emotionally draining and loveless existence there is. Facing the music of exactly what was done to me and where my surgeon messed up was hard. But knowing what's damaged has helped me find surgeons who can repair some, if not most of it. PM me if and when you're ready to consider revision. xx.
Thank you for your compassion, your very kind
Who are you considering for your revision?
Pm me.
I think similar happened to me. If you discussed with your surgeon you may find that you required more work than what he / she had for allotted surgery time. I had my revision completed on 15th July. You will probably require grafts to put yours right. My surgery took 4.5 hours and my surgeon actually admitted that even that was a lot longer than expected. Mine was carried out on the NHS for free as I couldn’t breath. Today is the first day that I can actually say my face is feeling better. Revisions are normally, so I’ve been told twice as painful and longer to heal.
Just FYI sooner rather than later is better just in case he does not want to help you...
