Hate my ugly nose from Grigoryants

Pictures did not post first time for some reason. I had a high tip before the surgery and asked Dr G to reduce my nostril show and he did the opposite. I have even more nostril show than before the surgery. My left nostrils is almost twice bigger than before the surgery. The tip has a weird ball like appearance. Nostrils have a pinched look. There are other concerns too - one side appears more scooped than the other and the tip on that side looks over projected but this does not bother me as much as my front view. Before I chose Dr G, I had a consult with a local doctor - Dr Andrew Denton and I wish I had gone with him as he seemed to have a better understanding what was wrong with my nose. He wrote a treatment plan for me and at that time, I was scared with all the techniques he was proposing for my nose and Dr G’s approach sounded less complicated and invasive. Unfortunately, I did not understand that Dr G lacked experience and skill for my nose.

It has been 3,5 years since my surgery. I absolutely hate my nose and I regret that I went with Dr G. I mistakenly thought since my nose was not so bad before surgery, it would be easy to fix. Dr is good if you you have a big downward nose but he was totally wrong surgeon for me. I would love to get a revision but the cost is prohibitive for me at this time. Rhino changed my whole face in a very unflattering way. I was looking for an elegant nose but got a nostrily piggy nose. Ladies, do your research and chose your surgeon wisely. I am including pictures of my Grigoryants nose versus a normal nose.

It has been over 2,5 years after my surgery. I am not happy with my result. I had significant nostril show before the surgery and my hope was that it would be fixed, but, unfortunately, I have even more nostril show after. At my preop I requested smaller nostrils, and, in my mind, it meant less view of my nostrils. I got alar base reduction which made my nostrils shorter but it did not help with the nostril show. Also, because my tip is higher now, it reveals the nostril asymmetry and crooked columella (both existed prior to the surgery but were less visible). I am also not happy with my 3/4 view on the right side. I feel like too much was removed off my bridge and it makes my tip to look too big in relation to the bridge (bridge looks scooped). I saw the doctor in the summer 2018 and his opinion was that my nose looks good and I don’t need any changes. He said if he tried to fix anything, I may end up even with more asymmetries. My review is not meant to discourage potential patients. I saw in person people who had good result and I know he has lots of happy customers and it is just unfortunate that I am not one of them.
