Tip Plasty: Natural, Elegant, and Snatched! An Amazing Experience with Dr. Janjua

As I post this, I am 9 months PO
The Decision & Choosing Dr. Janjua:
I have wanted a rhinoplasty since high school, but as someone with an ethnic nose, I was incredibly specific about my goals. I discovered Dr. Janjua on RealSelf almost a decade ago and knew he was my first choice because he specializes in ethnic rhinoplasty.
My primary goal was harmony:
I wanted to address my wide, bulbous tip and reduce the overall size so it wasn't the sole "center of attention" on my face, but I absolutely did not want implants. It was vital to me to preserve the character and ethnicity of my nose—I wanted it to still look like *my* nose, just perfectly fitted to my features.
### **The Consultation & Customized Plan**
Dr. Janjua was incredibly kind, communicative, and respectful.
While he initially suggested an alarplasty alongside the tip plasty, I wasn't quite ready for that level of change. So I opted for a very subtle adjustment which is closed tip plasty as he recommmeded, and he completely respected my wishes without trying to push or force alarplasty
He performed a closed tip plasty meaning zero external scars which completely amazed me!
The Recovery (Thick Skin Tips!)
As a patient with very thick skin, swelling is the foe, and this process is truly not for the faint of heart.
Esp the beginning, the fluctuating swelling can cause emotional ups and downs, so you need to be mentally prepared.
Because I work from home, I was able to diligently tape and splint my nose every single day whenever I was off-camera, which helped alot. To mitigate the swelling, I also religiously cleaned and moisturized my nose every night and slept elevated. Consistency is key!
Also talk to him
He will suggest if you needed steroid shots. I got it once only cause I taped religiously
The Results: A Total Glow-U
The results are exceptionally well done—it looks like I was born with it! The change is beautifully subtle.
Family members just think I "glowed up," close friends can pinpoint the elegant improvements, and others just notice an overall enhanced look without realizing I had surgery. Thats quite nice
My self-confidence has improved so much. Best of all? My side view is absolutely SNATCHED and looks good on cam
While I am still open to an alarplasty in the future , I am just incredibly happy enjoying this beautiful result.

For the quality of work and the price, Dr. Janjua is unmatched. Its soooo good
