Love my New Nose!

Summary:
Dr. Rohrich and his team have been amazing in every way, and I love my new nose! The experience from beginning to end has been A+!

More Details:
I reached out last June (2022) to set up a surgery for this August (2023). I had a wide nose, and wanted to shrink it down a bit. My ideal was to have a nose that fit my face more (in addition to fixing a deviated septum). When I looked up “wide nose rhinoplasty” one of the first before and after that came up was an example from Dr. Rohrich. I loved the result, and reached out!

Throughout the time between booking, consultation, Dr. Rohrich’s team (shout out to Joni!) has been great and answering any questions I had prior to surgery.

I planned on staying in Houston for roughly two weeks, due to post op care/getting my alar stitches removed (if your nose isn’t brought in at the alar base then you can leave after a week. Dr. Rohrich may not know it’s necessary until surgery, however I anticipated it as I wanted the width of my nose brought in).
Preop occurred the day before surgery and it was great meeting Dr. Rohrich in person. He was very kind, personable and made sure we were on the same page regarding my desired look.

Surgery day was next! I was a bit nervous as I didn’t know what to expect, however my boyfriend was with me as I waited for surgery in the pre-surgery room area. Prior to surgery the nurse spoke to me, then the anesthesiologist (who was amazing!) and then Dr. Rohrich. Dr. Rohrich was very focused that day, which I appreciated, and we went through expectations again. Soon after I walked back to the surgery room!

I believe the surgery was roughly 3 hrs. Waking up from surgery is always interesting, haha. I felt a little beat up/out of it, but the ride back to the hotel wasn’t rough and non-eventful.

After that I mainly rested, and followed the post-op instructions to a T. My boyfriend did an amazing job helping me as well.

Bruising wise - not bad. I had some yellow/green bruising below my eyes, and it looked like I had red eyeliner. My face also got swollen, which is expected and looked a bit silly.

During my post op I had the majority of my stitches taken out, and the cast/internal splints removed. It was nice to get everything off and my nose looked amazing! I was expecting it to look like a potato based on other post op pictures I’ve seen floating around - so, I was stoked to see how cute it already was.

I’m almost 2 months post op, and my nose is still changing/getting smaller. I couldn’t be happier with my results and would definitely recommend Dr. Rohrich!
