So Happy with my Results
Today is the 10th day after the surgery. The rehabilitation was very easy, I expected a much more difficult period. Immediately after the surgery I was adequate and felt good. I was brought to the room where I stayed for another day. The only pain I felt during the entire rehabilitation was the pain in my heels immediately after the surgery, I can rate it at 4/10 (a nasty feeling). The pain level during the rehabilitation was a maximum of 2/10. Although I am a very sensitive person and have a very low pain threshold, it was not painful at all. (For comparison, I rate lip filler injections at 7/10 on the pain scale)
The doctor wrote to me every day and asked for a report on my condition. On the first day and the day of discharge, his nurse helped me (although my mother and fiance were with me and supported me). On the second day, I was already calmly walking around the hotel, although I kept my hands in front of me because I was afraid of hitting my nose. This fear went away on the 3rd or 4th day. Let me remind you that I am a whiner and complainer, but I felt great. It was unpleasant to breathe through my mouth, but I quickly got used to it. Now it is difficult to break the habit and start breathing through my nose )
The most unpleasant thing during the entire rehabilitation was applying ice to my face for the first 3 days with a schedule of 20 minutes with ice on my face and 10 minutes of rest. It does not hurt, it is just boring to lie like that. Podcasts helped to spend time more interestingly with my eyes closed.
On the 3rd day, the doctor took tubes out of my nose, which was also not painful. I tried to follow a healthy diet and all the other recommendations of the doctor. I did not have large bruises and swelling, I am surprised by this. When I did my lips, they swelled to incredible sizes and large bruises remained, so I expected large swelling and bruises from rhinoplasty + septoplasty. As a result, I only had a little yellowing around my eyes and a green bruise on my cheek. Today, only a small bruise remains on my cheek.
On the 10th day, they removed the plaster cast and put a new one on for 5 days, which I will remove myself. I am very happy with the result. At first, I was shocked. For the first couple of minutes, I did not understand whether I liked it or not. But now, I realized that this is what I wanted and I am very, very happy with the result. Although my nose is still swollen and sensitive, I already love it very much. I am happy that I chose Dr. Mehmet Erdil from many other surgeons. This is a surgeon you can trust. I am looking forward to seeing the final result in a year. Very exciting and very happy.
