I had a surgical rhinoplasty performed by Dr. Erdil, and as a doctor myself, I can confidently say that he is not only an exceptionally skilled surgeon but also an artist. He is passionate about his work, a perfectionist who delivers outstanding results, provides excellent medical advice, and ensures that patients are well-informed about all necessary details in advance.

A year after my surgery, my nose looks even better than I ever imagined. My healing process was remarkably smooth — I experienced absolutely no pain or swelling. Dr. Erdil made my entire journey easy and delivered exceptional results. I am so glad I chose him, and I wholeheartedly recommend him to everyone.

I've wanted a nose job forever but only started researching properly early last year. It took a few months but eventually I found Dr Erdil and couldn't find anyone else whose work I loved as much and who had such great reviews. He was the only surgeon I had a consultation with but I knew straight away from that that I wanted to go with him. I booked in for 12th October 2024.

Dr Erdil, his assistant Feyza and his nurse are all so lovely and helped calm any nerves I had, before and after the surgery. My in-person consultation also went very well and solidified my decision, as at that point I knew if I wasn't 100% confident I wouldn't go ahead with it. He answered all my questions I had and made me feel so at ease even with my surgery being following morning. The only thing I was nervous about was not knowing if I needed alarplasty, but this didn't end up being necessary and my surgery was completely closed which was also a bonus. My initial recovery was very easy with minimal bruising and swelling despite my thin skin, and I didn't really experience any pain at all. Feyza message everyday to ask how I was doing. At my cast off, I really didn't like how my nose looked which I think is very common, but I did love my table pictures so I just tried to think about those. I was very nervous to take my second cast off due to the how I felt when the first one came off but I literally loved it straight away!! I felt confident enough to go out the day after removing it and have loved my nose ever since. It just seems to be getting better as time goes on.

I asked for my bump to be shaven down, particularly the sides as they were very sharp with the bone showing through my skin, and looked the worst at a 3/4 angle. I also asked for a more lifted tip. I never realised but my nose was also crooked so this was also corrected. At my in-person consultation, I said I thought I would prefer a straight nose, to which Dr Erdil said he thought a slight slope would look better so I did agree to this as I trusted his judgement, and I don't regret it. I think he has made my nose suit my face perfectly and seems to do this with all of his patients which I love, rather than copy and pasting the same style.

I will come back and update this review in a few months once I'm further into the healing process, but so far everything has been perfect!

Where to begin! Dr Memhet and Feyza made this process so smooth for me, he’s an incredibly honest person who puts safety/ functionality of the nose first which was so important for me when I was researching. That being said I love my nose and results so much it’s fixed my worst insecurity. I’m beyond grateful to Dr Memhet, the care I received was amazing. My journey was very smooth and without complications. I had zero pain, zero bruising and minimal swelling. Dr. Erdil keeps checking up on you after the operation. I am two months post op from a primary rhinoplasty, and I couldn’t be happier. Mehemet Erdil listened to what I wanted and didn’t like about my nose. My insecurity was my side profile, now it’s my favourite. So happy with how smoothly everything went, and all the aftercare advice I had. Feyza his assistant is also amazing as she was there if I needed any questions answered or had any concerns.

Today is the 10th day after the surgery. The rehabilitation was very easy, I expected a much more difficult period. Immediately after the surgery I was adequate and felt good. I was brought to the room where I stayed for another day. The only pain I felt during the entire rehabilitation was the pain in my heels immediately after the surgery, I can rate it at 4/10 (a nasty feeling). The pain level during the rehabilitation was a maximum of 2/10. Although I am a very sensitive person and have a very low pain threshold, it was not painful at all. (For comparison, I rate lip filler injections at 7/10 on the pain scale)

The doctor wrote to me every day and asked for a report on my condition. On the first day and the day of discharge, his nurse helped me (although my mother and fiance were with me and supported me). On the second day, I was already calmly walking around the hotel, although I kept my hands in front of me because I was afraid of hitting my nose. This fear went away on the 3rd or 4th day. Let me remind you that I am a whiner and complainer, but I felt great. It was unpleasant to breathe through my mouth, but I quickly got used to it. Now it is difficult to break the habit and start breathing through my nose )

The most unpleasant thing during the entire rehabilitation was applying ice to my face for the first 3 days with a schedule of 20 minutes with ice on my face and 10 minutes of rest. It does not hurt, it is just boring to lie like that. Podcasts helped to spend time more interestingly with my eyes closed.

On the 3rd day, the doctor took tubes out of my nose, which was also not painful. I tried to follow a healthy diet and all the other recommendations of the doctor. I did not have large bruises and swelling, I am surprised by this. When I did my lips, they swelled to incredible sizes and large bruises remained, so I expected large swelling and bruises from rhinoplasty + septoplasty. As a result, I only had a little yellowing around my eyes and a green bruise on my cheek. Today, only a small bruise remains on my cheek.

On the 10th day, they removed the plaster cast and put a new one on for 5 days, which I will remove myself. I am very happy with the result. At first, I was shocked. For the first couple of minutes, I did not understand whether I liked it or not. But now, I realized that this is what I wanted and I am very, very happy with the result. Although my nose is still swollen and sensitive, I already love it very much. I am happy that I chose Dr. Mehmet Erdil from many other surgeons. This is a surgeon you can trust. I am looking forward to seeing the final result in a year. Very exciting and very happy.
