Fantastic experience - really pleased with how my nose is healing

I have been debating rhinoplasty for several years, after an unfortunate breakage during my childhood years. The debate was mostly due to the apprehension of getting surgery on such a dominant place on the body and fear of it being bodged. When I met Dr Uppal, he understood my concerns and desire to look like I had not had a ‘nose job’ and I felt immediately at ease with him. The process from consultation to surgery was seamless, Dr Uppal and his team are fantastic and very efficient. The surgery itself was a breeze, I was in out of the hospital within 7 hours (personal preference). I was looked after incredibly well and the follow up via phone call and texts was faultless. It’s been several weeks since my surgery and I’m really pleased with how my nose is healing. It’s still very early days and there is still some slight swelling, which is to be expected. It’s so important to trust the healing process, when the dressing was removed the initial ‘reveal’ is not a ‘oh my god, I looked amazing’ moment. I was very swollen, my nose looked turned up and it looked like I had a bend in the nose still. I immediately had regrets and did endless amounts of researching to put my mind at ease. Dr Uppal, also provided lots of reassurance via texts. It takes a good 3/4 weeks to start to seeing the final look. Overall I couldn’t rate Dr Uppal highly enough. If you are looking for a surgeon that provides natural results then he is certainly your man.
