I recently had a rhinoplasty done by Dr. Mark Markarian, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience and results. Before choosing Dr. Markarian, I consulted with three different doctors. While all of them seemed competent, Dr. Markarian stood out with his friendly nature, genuine smile, and personal history with rhinoplasty, which made me feel truly understood and comfortable. His sculpting techniques also stood out when compared to the others. Just like his personality—friendly, charismatic, with a little sass—his nose creations represented that same vibe, which captured my undivided interest in him.
It's been 7 months since my surgery, and I’m thrilled with the outcome. I have no pain or breathing issues, and my nose looks fantastic! While the tip of my nose still feels a bit awkward to the touch and appears slightly swollen, the overall improvement is remarkable. My friends and family were already praising the perfect results just one month after the surgery.
The toughest part of the journey was definitely the first 3-4 days post-surgery. There wasn’t any pain, but the discomfort was intense. Not being able to breathe through my nose made sleeping and eating difficult. I had a dry mouth throughout the night, which disrupted my sleep, and my throat was sore from the surgery tube, so I could only handle soups and water. The thick saliva and mucus buildup, along with a swollen face and head, were quite overwhelming. However, by the end of day four, I felt about 80% better, and the bruising started to fade.
By the second month, I felt like my normal self again, though I was worried about my smile. I love my smile, and it took five months for it to fully return. But now, knowing what I know and seeing the incredible results, I would definitely do it all over again.
