WORTH IT
I had my surgery almost 3 months ago and absolutely love the result.
I never liked my nose but I was always too nervous to have plastic surgery as it felt like taking a huge risk. It took me years of going back and forth on the decision and speaking to many surgeons before I finally made the decision to go ahead with it. One of my concerns was having a nose that would not suit my face, I really did not want to look like I had a nose job and wanted my nose to work harmoniously with my face. There was also a lot of uncertainty with my case as there were multiple characteristics that I wanted altered as I wanted my nose to be straightened, bridge reduced and the tip reshaped. Lydia felt like the right fit mainly due to her expertise and experience as I wanted a surgeon who specialised solely in rhinoplasty and had practiced for 10 years + and that narrowed the search a lot!
On the day of the surgery I was quite nervous but it was great to meet both Lydia and Charles who both operated on me. After surgery, I had two very painful days and then I turned a corner and my symptoms were more uncomfortable than painful with a lot of swelling. The day of cast removal and looking in the mirror, I did not instantly like the results as it can be quite a shock as I had a lot of swelling (do not put expectations on yourself to love it straight away). However, within a day I absolutely loved it once the nerves and stress began to dissipate. All of the fears I had before surgery did not come true and my experience was extremely positive.
All of my friends and family are amazed at what Lydia has managed to achieve with my nose and think Lydia and Charles are both miracle workers! I still look like me but just better which is exactly what I wanted. I couldn’t have imagined better results and genuinely cannot believe how they have managed to achieve it. I had a very significant nose job but because it looks THAT natural, no-one has noticed, they just think I look good but can't put their finger on it! I also completely forget I had a nose job because it suits my face so much. I’m so grateful for their expertise and in awe of their skill and talent.
If you are thinking about rhinoplasty, go with Lydia to give yourself the best chance of an incredible result.
