surgery great, diet even better

Earlier this year, I had a procedure on my nose performed by Dr. Toriumi to address a deviated septum that had begun affecting my breathing. Everything leading up to the surgery — as well as the care during and after — was extremely professional. I felt completely supported and well cared for throughout the entire process. I was given clear, detailed aftercare instructions, and I couldn’t have felt more confident and safe with the pre- and post-operative care. After healing, my breathing improved significantly, and my nose has felt much better.

During the process, I was also given a book Dr. Toriumi wrote about the anti-inflammatory diet. I implemented this diet after surgery, and it has since become a staple in my life. It has completely transformed my daily energy, mood, and overall lifestyle. My plaque psoriasis has nearly disappeared, and I’m able to do more in my day-to-day life. I highly recommend Dr. Toriumi’s diet post-surgery. He has also been incredibly helpful during follow-up visits, answering any questions I’ve had about the diet.

All in all, if you’re considering this surgery, the diet, the book, and Dr. Toriumi himself are—in my opinion—almost as valuable as the procedure itself.
