The Best Surgeon You Could Ask for

I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Dr. Roskies. From the intake process to post op, I truly felt like him & his team cared about my goals and valued me as a patient. Starting with April, the patient care coordinator, who immediately made me feel at ease. She brought so much energy and excitement to our appointments, she made me feel like I made the right decision right away. That was solidified after my first appointment with Dr. Roskies. He genuinely listened to what I wanted, explained what he could do, was honest & transparent, showed me examples and overall, was the kind of surgeon people should hope for in any medical scenario, plastics or not. His bedside manner was impeccable and his spirit was infectious. You can tell he loves and cares so much about what he does. My pre op appointment with Chantel was also amazing, she answered every single one of my (many) questions and made me feel even more ready for surgery. On surgery day, Alex, the head nurse, met me and took me through the series of events. I was quite nervous but the staff were so calm, it transferred to me. I met with the anesthesiologist quickly and then again with Dr Roskies to go over the surgery plan, take some pictures, and answer my final questions. Before I knew it, it was done and I was taken to post op where my recovery nurse, Charlene, was an absolute sweetheart and so kind, I felt so well cared before it was time to go home.

Recovery was relatively easy for me. I experienced no bruising, only swelling to my face that went down after 4 days. 1 week post op (the day after cast removal) I was back in the office & at a wedding 9 days post op. Friends I hadn't seen in a while said they wouldn't believe I'd had surgery if I hadn't told them.

Now for the result - even though I am still somewhat swollen at 1 month post op, as to be expected, I am already so beyond happy with my results. Scarring is very minimal, my nose is getting feeling back and I am fully back to my normal routine & lifestyle. Dr Roskies gave me the nose I always wanted but 10x better. I feel so much more confident, I'm finally happy to look at my side profile in the mirror & I feel a renewed sense of self. My only regret is not doing this sooner. Dr Roskies is a master of his craft and the only plastic surgeon you should consider in Toronto for rhinoplasty. I genuinely look forward to my appointments with him & the team.
