Wonderful Rhinoplasty Experience

WORTH IT
I have only good things to say about Dr. Zhuravsky. I had an awake rhinoplasty procedure with him last October, and from first consult to the surgery itself, he was kind, caring, professional and dedicated to making the experience as comfortable and positive as possible.
I was the furthest thing from an easy patient -- coming all the way from the UK. Not only that, but I actually had to change my surgery date at the very last minute. I was devastated, but Dr. Z and his wonderful wife Barbie were extraordinarily understanding and patient, for which I couldn't have been more grateful.
In the lead up to my travels they were sending me hotel recommendations, which proved extremely useful!
The procedure itself was super straightforward. Dare I say it, relaxing! Once I got over my initial nerves, that is (assuaged by Dr. Z and his team). I even fell asleep at times. I'm sure I was saying some strange things, for which I can only apologise now!! The recovery was actually very smooth, although unfortunately I contracted Covid (at some point in the days prior to meeting/having my surgery with Dr. Z. Possibly on the plane (?)), so I wasn't feeling the best from that perspective. But in all other respects I was doing great. I'm given to understand that rhino recovery isn't nearly as uncomfortable when you have had an awake surgery, with a talented surgeon, and in the absence of nasal packing, and I can certainly testify to this.
I felt very bad about the Covid, seeing as I was due to have my splint removed at the end of the week, but Dr. Z was extremely kind and understanding and still allowed me to come in, whilst at the same time employing the appropriate safe-guarding measures.
The results are subtle but very effective -- the sort of end product only an extremely skilled surgeon could pull off! I am so grateful to Dr. Z, Barbie and the rest of his team, for treating me so well! I would recommend him/them to anyone looking to have a rhinoplasty; especially an awake rhinoplasty! :)
