Botched & Ignored
I had my primary rhinoplasty in May 2024, and from the moment my cast was removed, I was in complete shock. The results were nothing like I had expected, and I immediately spiraled into a depressive episode. However, I was repeatedly told to “trust the process,” so I held onto hope that things would improve over time.
Two months post-op, I noticed a significant issue and reached out to the surgeon’s office. My concerns were completely ignored for months, and I only received a response in October. Their solution? Sending me another nostril retainer—over a month later, something that did absolutely nothing to address the problem.
Now, almost a year later, my nose looks worse than it did before surgery, and I find myself researching revision options. This entire experience has been incredibly disheartening. If you’re considering this practice for rhinoplasty, I strongly urge you to do thorough research and ensure you’re in the hands of someone who truly listens and cares about your concerns post-op.
