Rhinoplastsy w/ Vladimir Grigoryants (Septorhinoplasty)

Hi guys!
Back in the Cosmetic surgery train! As you know, this will not be my first experience with plastic surgery (see my profile for breastfeeding augmentation experience)
I just booked my rhinoplasty surgery this past Thursday and I could not be more excited! My surgery is now officially set for September 27! A little over a month an a half after booking it ( I know!)
I saw a total of 3 surgeons (I did research for a year to narrow it down) and the third one was a charm. I saw Dr. Naderi and another surgeon in Los Angeles via Skype (both of them did not work out)
I think for my personal needs (aesthetic and functional) plus several other reasons, I knew Dr Matthew Bridges was the one for me. Everything just fell into place!
Before I go any further, I want to say that I have wanted to get this done ever since I can remember. I have memories in elementary going back to elementary school being teased about my nose. Im 26 now, married and with 2 kids but really wish I had the means to do this sooner!
I decided this was the year when I went to an ENT doctor for chronic sinuses, and ended up finding out I had a deviated septum (among other sinus issues).
I knew my insurance would cover all the expenses for a septoplasty and sinus surgery with only a $250 deductible (amazing insurance) and I would end up saving money on the cosmetic portion if I did it all at once. And now here we are!

So now that you know why I wanted to get this surgery done. Here's my experience with my successful consultation with Dr. Matthew Bridges:

I live in Alexandria VA, so my drive to Midlothian Richmond was 2 hours each way (so worth it!)
He was my top choose because he was DOUBLE aboard certified (so hard to find) and because my insurance covered him (medical side).

I knew that he'd be able to address the medical issues I had (chronic sinuses etc) and the aesthetic portion since they were both equally as important to me!

I loved how he took the time to really examine me for both. Plus his staff (especially Mary ) was amazing.

I was already sold seeing how he took his time examining me. Once he showed me the 3D before and after images he produced and THEN he told me he does CLOSED rhinoplasties. OMG take my money now...lol.
This means No visible scars and faster healing and less swelling! And since I have to have my nose broken (septoplasty to fix deviated septum) I did not want to add to that bruising). This also means way more tedious work for Dr. Bridges (it's easier to do and open rhinoplasty) so I appreciate that more than anything!!!!

I also loved that he performed the surgery in hospital setting (much safer) and that he would give me a 15% discount for doing both surgeries in one (not to mention the gigantic savings in anesthesia etc)

Anyways, my surgery is set for September 27th! I can't wait and I'm counting the days. I have already booked a house from AirBB for 2 nights) I'm so glad things worked out ! I was already so nervous to meet him because I was scared things wouldn't work out. I'd have to postpone another year since 2 weeks vacation time was expiring and I had already exhausted my search for the right surgeon online!


It's worth mentioning that my last surgery (breast augmentation) was a major success, however, I feel like I got lucky since I went with the first surgeon I saw (yikes! ) Thankfully I did do months of of research before hand so it was okay and everything turned out way better than I expected.

This time I made sure to go to a a few other consultations, however Dr. Matthew always my top choice.

I'm so relieved everything fell into place!

I had already set the surgery day with Dr. Matthew Bridges and later found out he had botched someone surgery thanks to a wonderland lady that PM'd me about it. I didn't want to believe it at first, but upon investigating, i was able to find that persons review and story. Now I am about to cancel my surgery and I am devastated! My first choice had always been Dr Grygoriants in Glendale California and Have already had my email consultation with him. I sent him another email last night to see if a video consultation is possible. If I feel comfortable after speaking with him, I will book the surgery the same day. However! I have heard and seen some bad reviews (crooked nose etc) and I am Low key scared!

I absolutely love his results and it is the same look I'm going for! I attached a picture of my favorite work from him ( Vladimir)
