Drooping columella and notched nostril
$11,000
Harmych said the nostril would improve with time, it’s been over two years and it’s still there. Made appt awhile ago and concerns were minimized. Said nothing can be done. Had to go back to square one to find someone to correct these last remaining issues. It’s been quite a journey. I did find more experienced revision surgeon and they said can easily be fixed with columella trim and alar graft. I am still hopeful I can get the results I’ve wanted for the past decade.

Still with nostril notching…
Dr Harmych did my revision surgery after my first rhinoplasty left me with a bulbous tip and notched nostril. He fixed the bulbous tip but I still have that severe notched nostril.

Posting this now because I wanted to be patient and give it 1-2 years to settle but the notched nostril is not better.
I did go back to Dr Harmych to reevaluate the notched nostril and columellar hang still present after he did my revision. I am grateful the tip look better but he said the nostril notching would improve with healing time (Ra been over two years) and it didn't. and from what I remember, he and another employee minimized my concern and basically said there was nothing to be done. However, on this app other surgeons have suggested the remaining defect can easily be corrected with alar grafting and a subtle columella trim. I am grateful my nose has some improvement but it is still not where it should be after two surgeries. Some people really get lucky having an ideal outcome after one rhinoplasty. For others of us, I guess it takes a little longer and more patience/research.

Old pictures of before my revision, as well as another after picture
Hope this helps anyone in choosing or deciding. He did my revision and I could not be happier.
