6 months

I will probably post an update at the 1 year mark, but most of my swelling is at my tip now. I honestly still tape about every other night just around the tip to help with the swelling from sleeping over night (it travels to the lower part of the tip.) I truly think this has helped the swelling process tremendously for me and recommend it to other thick skinned patients! Overall still extremely happy :)

Almost 5 months post op

Wow, I’m realllllly starting to see major results between month 4 through 5. The front view is starting to lose a lot of swelling (not looking as wide) and the tip is finally coming down a bit. I see the pressure of the swelling going to the bottom of my tip now because of the tape. I feel like still taping at night helps with the swelling overnight but I feel like this is completely optional and I’m sure other people don’t tape this long. Really happy so far and I can’t wait for it to get completely healed!

Nostrils/ front view

(Requested) Wouldn’t say the nostrils are perfectly symmetrical but I’m happy with it! I will say it’s been 3 and half months and I still tape my nose, this helps a lot with swelling. I stopped for a couple of days hoping to be done with it but it started to swell up again, hoping by 6 months it will resolve a bit.
