I will probably post an update at the 1 year mark, but most of my swelling is at my tip now. I honestly still tape about every other night just around the tip to help with the swelling from sleeping over night (it travels to the lower part of the tip.) I truly think this has helped the swelling process tremendously for me and recommend it to other thick skinned patients! Overall still extremely happy :)

Almost 5 months post op
Wow, I’m realllllly starting to see major results between month 4 through 5. The front view is starting to lose a lot of swelling (not looking as wide) and the tip is finally coming down a bit. I see the pressure of the swelling going to the bottom of my tip now because of the tape. I feel like still taping at night helps with the swelling overnight but I feel like this is completely optional and I’m sure other people don’t tape this long. Really happy so far and I can’t wait for it to get completely healed!

Did he have to inject any steroids due to swelling for this thick skin ? I have think skin as well ):
No I didn’t get any!
Did he suggest that thoe ?
He did suggest it but I never got it. He didn’t think I needed it
I love how your new nose brought a perfect balance to your face. So happy for you, you must feel so confident now!
That is so sweet of you! I feel like this is the nose I was supposed to have & I'm very happy :) thank you so much!
Literally gorgeous result. Like perfect look
You look amazing! so happy for you :) How long did it take you to book your surgery date after your consultation? I have heard you have to book it 6 months in advance but I would like to have it done within the next month. I am also out of the area.
Thank you! I’m not too sure tbh :/ if you contact him about having it asap he can put you on the wait list or even call his office. I’ve heard that people cancel and they will call you right away! (I only officially scheduled my surgery about a month before)
You look amazing! Any breathing issues?
Thank you! & none :)

Nostrils/ front view
(Requested) Wouldn’t say the nostrils are perfectly symmetrical but I’m happy with it! I will say it’s been 3 and half months and I still tape my nose, this helps a lot with swelling. I stopped for a couple of days hoping to be done with it but it started to swell up again, hoping by 6 months it will resolve a bit.

If you skip a day or 2 of taping how bad is the swelling? When did you stop and the re-start?
It’s worse on the tip, it becomes bulbous. It’s not terrible, most people wouldn’t notice but I do. I usually wear it at night because it’s mostly when you lay down! I stopped at the 4 month mark but started to just tape at night and prob will for a another month. The tip won’t be healed for a long time regardless, it just helps
Sorry 3 1/2 month mark I stopped and quickly started just at night a few days later
Stunning! You look like you're 16.
Thank you! I’m 22 so not far off at all lol
Your nose is so cute!! Love the results!
Thank you so much!
