How it works
- Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
- This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
- Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
- Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.

Photo Updates from Before Op to 9th day post op
5th day update:
At this point, doc finally removed the gauze in my nose. it's so relieving. I can finally breathe better. I still get droopy nose but it's not bad.
7th day update:
Doc took off the cast and just left medical take on my nose to help with swelling and support.
Up to this date:
Nose still gets droopy but it gets less and less. I feel improvement on my breathing and I really like the side profile improvement so far.

4th Day Post Op
Today, the doctor removed the gauze. The process to remove it is really uncomfortable, but it's worth it. Now, I can breath through my nose. Nose will be dripping from time to time but just gently tap tissue at the bottom to clean it.
Also, i got my first bowel movement today after surgery! Things seem to be getting better from here.

Rib Cartilage Rhinoplast with Mid Face Augmentation
Hi guys, I guess I'll start my review here. I consulted with many clinics in korea and decided to go with VIP Plastic Surgery. Together with Rib Cartilage Rhinoplasty with Midface Augmentation, I'm having Breast Augmentation, and forward Genioplasty. I'll have separate review on these.
During my initial consultation, I wanted to have many surgery at once coz I really didn't want to have another surgery in the future. I brought up breast augmentation, rib rhinoplasty, midface augmentation, genioplasty, zygoma reduction, blepharoplasty, and facial fat graft on the table during my consultation. Anyway, the doctor flat out told me I don't need all these surgeries, the most important ones he recommends for me is forward genioplasty, and rhinoplasty with midface, and sure breast augmentation because I really wanted it. He told me to recover from these surgery, the result might satisfy me enough to not even want other procedures I mentioned. And clearly, he said that I really don't need zygoma reduction and blepharoplasty. And if I decide, in the future I still want them, I can always have it done then. I feel a bit rejected at that time, but now that I'm thinking about it, I must have been out of my goudamn mind because recovering from just these 3 chosen procedure is extremely hard enough.
I'm currently 3 days post op. I think it's still too early to share before and after photos so I'll wait until 7 days for exactly one week to start with photo updates. But I'll share my experience so far for Rhinoplast with Midface Augmentation. My reviews for breast augmentation, and genioplasty will be linked when available.
Right after waking up from general anesthesia up to 1st day post op:
I was knocked out, couldn't really sleep deeply. Just just consciously passed out. At first, I can breathe in and out from the gauze they've inserted in my nose, but through out the night it slowly got clogged too. I don't feel any pain on the nose, I don't even feel the pressure. I just know there's something there. Every 9:30 am, VIP switches out the dressing and cleans the nose area, they also use a mucus vacuum to suck all your snots out. That one HURTS and is really uncomfortable. I was crying, but I have low pain tolerance with these things. And just imagining I have to do that everyday until that things taken off. Oh boy!
2nd day post op:
I started sleeping upright. Everytime they change the dressing, it feels so nice because there's a tiny window of time where you can breathe in and out of your nose, but it usually last for an hour. Oh and that mucus vacuum made me tear up again.
3rd day post op:
Really not much change from day 2. Still gotta breathe through your mouth.
Btw, another thing I liked about VIP, is the free facial, swelling treatment, and hair wash they offer after the morning check up.
