Rhinoplasty Surgery to Remove Bump
Glorious38311March 3, 2022
WORTH IT
I am really happy with my rhinoplasty undertaken by Mr Paul Wilson at St Joseph's Hospital in Newport, South Wales in April 2021. The main thing I asked for was to remove a rather prominent 'bump' on the bridge of my nose.
From the moment I stepped in the hospital to leaving I could not have been cared for any better. I spoke with Mr Wilson just before my surgery, afterwards and the following morning which really put my mind to rest. I had planned for this day in my head since my teens, as I absolutely hated the shape of my nose and was really conscious of it. I was so happy when I was shown a photograph that had been taken just before the cast was put on whilst under anaesthetic.
Following the procedure I was in no pain or discomfort whatsoever and I even managed to eat. But you could see the bruising starting to develop.
The following morning Mr Wilson popped in to see me and was happy for me to go home.
Once home there was some discomfort and the bruising looked quite bad. However, I'd done plenty of research prior to the procedure and so had everything to hand to make things more comfortable and knew what to expect. This only lasted a couple of days and then I was back on my feet.
Following having the cast removed a couple of weeks later I must admit I was not blown away with what I saw. This was because my nose was still very swollen and I knew it was going to take roughly a year to see the true result.
My year is almost up and I am extremely happy with the result. I feel like I've always had this shape nose.
My only complaint is that I wish I had done it years ago!
