8 months post rhinoplasty & day by day my nose is changing, I love it

I first approached Dr William Townley back in May 2021, where I had an initial consultation. I discussed my expectations and he provided an indication to what was possible to achieve, the costs, expectations and was really informative about the procedure and requirements to achieve the result I wanted.

After saving up to pay for the surgery, I proceeded with the procedure in January 2023. I had waited over 10 years for this day, and when I arrived at the hospital, I was warmly greeted by staff and William himself where he discussed what they were planning to do and I also discussed my requests.

I had always hated by nose, after years of relentless bullying, avoidance of photos and videos from the side, and even facing people during conversation to avoid them seeing my side profile, it was mentally exhausting. I found Dr William Townley through a Facebook Group referral, after looking into his results and seeing his grand achievements both with rhinoplasty and facial reconstruction I knew he would be the best doctor for what I needed.

My goal was to have a nose that had reduced protrusion, to bring in the tip and remove the bump on the bridge. I didn’t think this would be possible but it was.

Once i went in for the surgery, I was so nervous, I hated needles, and have general anxiety anyway about such settings, but William Townley and his team were fantastic, they made me feel so welcome and comfortable. After awaking from the surgery, I could already tell an immediate difference even with the cast on. I was in little to no pain and I could eat straight away. (This may differ for patients) but I was well accommodated by his staff and the hospital staff.

For the first few weeks the swelling was moderate, but I didn’t have any concerning swelling or black eyes or pain, the worst thing was probably not being able to taste anything! It was a pretty easy recovery, with details well provided by Dr Townley’s assistant nurse. His team provided a lovely package of medicine and care products which greatly helped with the recovery.

At one point, I did suffer an infection in my septum, a expected risk of the surgery, but Townley and Charlotte were fantastic, they helped me out of hours to get antibiotics and after a few days this cleared up fabulously.

I am currently 8 month’s post operation, and day by day my nose is changing but one thing that I know is that I love it. My confidence is INSANE, I have ever felt so “normal” I don’t have to look at people dead on without concern anymore, I don’t think about my nose in social settings, I enjoy photos from the side, and everyone says how well it not fits my face.

Dr William Townley achieved the impossible and it really has changed my life already. His results were the best investment I have made to date, after years of considering the cost, it was 110% worth it.

I know the nose has a while to go before the real results show, but I am over the moon already and fingers crossed I will be into the future. But I can’t thank you and your team enough for everything, you have changed my life and my confidence.
