I honestly could not be happier, I am so amazed at Dr Mark Baldwin & all the staff at Horizon!
Today I am 6 weeks post-op & went for my 6 week check up. Rhinoplasty has been a procedure I have wanted since start of high school & now has changed my life. From the minute I walked into Horizon, I was welcomed by all the receptionist at the front desk who throughout the whole process were always kind & helpful.
Mark is one of the most genuine people I have ever met, and from the 1st consultation I instantly knew he was the one to go to for what I wanted. Mark made it very clear that he was going to try his best to achieve what we were aiming for & give me a “pretty/cute nose” compared to the one I had, & he honestly did beyond what I ever expected!
I booked surgery & was very scared leading up to it as reality started it hit that I was going under major surgery & anaesthesia, I seen Mark & other beautiful staff at the hospital before I went under who all made me feel so calm.
Recovery was much better than I expected, besides the bruising (everyone is different), bruising lasted a good 2-3 weeks for me. Leaving hospital and while my cast stayed on, I had very little to no pain, just a lot of pressure. I always wondered what people meant by saying they felt pressure but now I know the feeling of what they meant. Breathing out of the mouth was pretty quick to get used to while the splits were in. I recommend trying to get a script for sleeping tablets (which I did) to make it easier to sleep & relax at night.
Now 6 weeks post-op my nose to me is perfect, Mark achieved everything I wanted & more. I am so grateful for Mark, the admin and nurse team at Horizon, and hospital workers.
